Genea is very easy to install and manage users. Their excellent customer service, from negotiations to installation, was outstanding. Compared with other app access controls we have used, Genea is the most complete. I like the remote management of the door, especially in the remote work environment. The installation is a little bit costly but still worth the money! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to give users mobile keys helps reduce overhead and time spent printing cards Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's cloud-based, so it does have the risk of having some downtime that you wouldn't usually get from a typical access control provider. Downtime has been minimal though Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The admin portal on the desktop is easy to use with a very clean UI. The mobile device is equally clean and easy to use. Looking forward to adding Meraki cameras to our ecosystem now that it is supported by Genea. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part of the app is that I'm able to pull out my phone and shake it to trigger the door to unlock. This removes the hassle of needing to unlock my phone, access the app, and manually press an unlock button! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the shake-to-unlock function is a bit slow to work, or it will false-trigger while I'm away from the office. Moderately annoying as I'll get a weird notification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The functionality to log in remotely and utilize virtual access card solutions instead of physical access cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creating user and access is a 3 stage process. 1. create user, 2. create or add user privileges, 3. add access card. I would like to see that in a all in one screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is well designed and very easy to use. It was easy to onboard new employees and get them up and running Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We like the usage dashboards that show activity for how our spaces are being leveraged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We don't like that there is no global view, only views per location. For businesses with multiple offices, a central dashboard might be a useful feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hello, thank you for your review. We do offer a global dashboard view for businesses with multiple locations. On the global dashboard page, you will see very high-level information about your locations - average attendance from each location, the total number of offline devices, the total number of alarms across the locations, etc. I have included a help article for your reference.
See how Genea Security improvedEase of use, clean dashboard, and the ability to virtually provide access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice if you didn't have to create a user and then go create a keycard - this could be accomplished more seamlessly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how the UI is very clean, and there's excellent functionality. Remote access is great. Support on the website is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Have had hardware issues in the past, but support was quick to get in touch and send out technicians. Issuing out keys can be finicky at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
