Our company is mostly remote; the office is always available for use, but there is no requirement to come in. The problem we faced with this setup is how do we keep our office secure, but still have it open for people to use without having to have a person dedicated to opening it every day. Genea stores user data in the cloud and pushes a copy of this data to the physical controller on premises. Adding employees, editing their information, seeing when and where they scanned in, and so much more is all very easy. The help features are also great. There was a lot of disconnect between our property management team who installed Genea at our facility, and how it was rolled out to tenants. We were onboarded by Genea thinking our employees would be able to use a Bluetooth key on their phone, however that did not end up being the case. We had to transfer over all the information from the physical key cards we currently used to the Genea system.
