Gen Video uniquely allows for tracking of conversions from 3rd party retailers through affiliate networks. It's simple enough to set-up and the client success team was responsive, friendly, and helpful. The UI is pretty clean and modern in it's aesthetic, but sorta clunky to use. Sometimes you need a full screen with the browser to do certain things, sometimes there is featurs hidden under expand icons. It also a little hard to do what should be a quick task - like create a link with a creator for a product at a retailer. Lastly, my biggest critigue is that is hard to analyze the data that is returned. The data itself is pretty straightforward, but it's hard to cut the data by the variables that we are interested in. Gen.Video was extremely knowledgeable and very forthcoming. They rolled with the punches and helped us design and implement marketing research along with basically setting up our influencer marketing campaign. We were able to do so much because of them. Their customer support with onboarding was impeccable - team is super responsive. It is very simple to use and completely customizable. I really like the quick responses and KOL management from Gen.video. They always provide quick responses, efficiently address clear messages, and pass them to KOL in a timely manner. What I dislike is probably the KOL sourcing. Initially, the KOL list they provided was quite far from what we expected based on our initial brief. And also some of the specified KOLs that we really want to work with. If he or she declines, I feel gen.video is hard to convince them to work with us.
