Gemini has nice-looking charts and lots of cryptocurrencies to choose from, purchase, hold, and stake. It is informational and also has a very large API knowledge base. However, the fact that the company did not do their due diligence on Genesis before I trusted my money to them has me concerned about using the platform again in the future. Gemini has great liquidity and high account limits. They have all the most important coins listed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Gemini? Their fee structure is confusing and seems to be always changing. First they had a reasonable fee, then they increased the fee, then they increased the fee again for trades made through the consumer version ("Gemini") of their interface but not for the professional version of their interface ("Gemini ActiveTrader") that requires you to contact support for them to activate. Without the "ActiveTrader" interface, you are missing basic functionality such as limit orders. Then they reduced the fees again. All of this within two years. This makes the company's fee structure and feature set feel unpredictable, and makes me wonder if they will still be reasonably priced and offer a proper feature set in the future.
