Though not the leader in the industry, they rank high with me because of the ease, pricing, selection and great processing and shipping times. **What do you dislike about Gelato?** They are not the cheapest in the industry. **What problems is Gelato solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are not my sole POD service but my two main service providers are always out of my most popular colors and Gelato always has them in stock. They also are superb at fine art prints and as an artist that is essential, they are the only ones that print on both aluminum and wood in the sizes my customers seem to want. ### 2. The team is very nice and always able to help, so great support. I use the platform everytime my company wants to launch new products. I like being able to select multiple colors of items too. The items are top quality. **What do you dislike about Gelato?** Not really anything. It doesn't pay as well as some of the other companies but you get quality items. **What problems is Gelato solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have to keep inventory. It's residual income and gives me a place to put my artwork. ### 6. They offer a whole range of products to choose from to sell. They also ship to a large amount of countries. **What do you dislike about Gelato?** Gelato has very expensive product pricing, it is pretty hard to make a profit on orders after all of your other expenses when you include these very high product prices. **What problems is Gelato solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gelato allows us to test new product ideas without the hassle and the cost of having to import 100s at a time. This saves us a lot of money as if the product doesn't sell very well we just cut it from our line up. ### 7. Their acrylic prints are fantastic. The stretch on the Canvas prints is a bit loose but otherwise very well printed and feels like good quality. **What do you dislike about Gelato?** I added their ceramic mugs to my store and ordered some samples. I also had a couple orders on my site for mugs. Of the 10 or so that I got from them, 5 of them had various flaws; some small, some very, very large. This was bad enough that I removed mugs from my store entirely. They are just not of quality, the print is not crisp by any means, and there's little consistency in the print. I would LOVE to add photo books to my store but you CAN'T design the back or the spine of the books in their online design tool. You can if you download their template but it's a nightmare to use. THEN they offer NO mockups of your book. How can I sell books if I don't have images of it? I'd have to order a sample of every single book I make and take my own photos every time. **What problems is Gelato solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having many wall art options to choose from, as this is the main category of products I offer on my store. Gelato has very nice wall art options, specifically the acrylic print. I don't have the money to buy a large stock, so having these products available for drop ship is amazing. ### 9. I wish there were more products. I really need puzzles to be added as an option. Also, some of the products only seem to be available in certain countries. **Recommendations to others considering Gelato:** They are just getting started so I don't expect them to have all of the products I need yet. I'll be patient because I like the user interface better than some of the other apps I use. I would say just give it a try and then wait to see what other products they add. **What problems is Gelato solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am getting some of my products printed at lower prices than other companies I work with. The user experience is better than some of the other printing apps I use. ### 10.
