I've leveraged gearset since they launch and have done salesforce deployments with copado, changesets, ANT, jenkins, blue canvas, you name it.
what I like about gearset is that it requires no package/footprint within the salesforce org and allows release managers, developers, admins the easiest approach to build and deploy packages
what I also like about gearset is the fact that they don't try to be a source control product easily integrating with your best in class GIT cloud or on-premise source control.
what I also like about gearset is how easy it is to setup continuous integration, with a few clicks you can setup whatever automation (SFDC >> GIT, GIT > SFDC, SFDC > SFDC) along with SMS and/or email notifications and it will reliably run. It takes away development and overhead of maintaining a jenkins solution so your team can focus on functionality (not devops automation) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
only con is that gearset accessed your org from their AWS host in Ireland which throws some customers for a loop. I believe they are working on US based option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First up, admittedly I'm a fanboi. Gearset makes it far easier to keep things clear and straight when moving from one environment to another. This helpful especially when you need to turn something around fast.
Rolling back deployments is a win, too.
Being able to integrate with Git repos and create your own devops process, including CI/CD is amazing.
I'd say Gearset is best of class for the majority of Salesforce orgs at varying levels of development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Every once in a while an edge case type of metadata may cause a hiccup (but the last time I experienced this, honestly, was a few years ago. Community Cloud/Experienc Cloud can be a pain sometimes.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Incredibly intuitive interface to stage your deployment, the pre-deployment assessments are very helpful. I will never go back to deploying components via Salesforce change sets again. For those that always struggle with profile adds or changes in your deployment, which we all do, Gearset makes it substantially easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about using Gearset thus far Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have 4 Salesforce orgs that need to share data, but not regularly. With gearset, I can push changes between the orgs quickly without needing to rebuild or reconstruct what was built in our main org. Super easy and use friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at the moment. It does exactly what wee need in an easy way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Scheduled unit test execution, org snapshots, and overall deployment process with the rollback possibilities. The support team is responsive and helpful. Easy integrations set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We haven't faced any issues so far. I can't find anything that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use. CI\CD setup for Salesforce can be daunting but Gearset makes it easy. Gearsets knowledge base is great and is updated frequently. There was also plenty of support from our accunt exec. It was very easy to integrate into our existing org structure. The comparison feature is worth its weight in gold. Being able to comapre orgs to repos is invaluable for us. We use Gearset amost daily be it comparisons, test runs or deployments. The problem analyser for deployments is very helpful and proved its worth very quickly. The only real drawback with Gearset is the cost. This was a struggle to get past approvals but its well worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to implement and see the complete pipeline. With some basic knowledge of version control anyone can use gearset with ease. Resolving the deployment error, merge confilcts, roll back and tracking Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we try to make new comparisons in new PR most of the time the previous filter remains there. Previously added items should disappear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Gearset is a one-stop shop for a professional devops solution on the Salesforce platform. It combines all the best features of SF's DevOps center with additional must-have features such as CI/CD, data deployments, and automated unit testing. It is extremely easy to use and the company provides phenomenal support. Our team uses it daily and couldn't live without it at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The high cost makes it the cadillac of metadata deployment solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Gearset is so intuitive to use, while still being extremely powerful. The simple setup process and team management, and integration capabilities make it extremely valuable regardless of your team size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some idiosyncrasies you have to learn. like remembering to include certain components for things like FLS but once you learn them, the fact that you can choose whether or not to include those lower components is worth the learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
