We launched a Recorder that lets you generate Gatling scripts from recorded actions rather than writing the Scala code by hand, plus AI-powered migration tools to help teams move existing JMeter and LoadRunner test suites into Gatling. We've also rolled out AI-powered documentation to make it easier to get unstuck without needing deep Scala expertise. Together, these are meant to lower exactly the barrier you described. The customer support has been some of the best I have come across. We required complex use cases for requests and gatling's DSL supported all the customizations we needed. What do you dislike about Gatling? The public API for automating your scenarios rather limiting. i.e you can run simulations but not create them. Gatling integrated easily with AWS and allowed us to test our application. There is nothing I \*dislike\* about Gatling, I really have just one point here: - Gatling is relatively new so community is smaller than of peers (if you have to write non-trivial solutions, you are likely to be the first to do it) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Gatling solving and how is that benefiting you? Gatling is a great solution for load testing due to its extensibility, performance and out of the box reporting. It is easy to compose and run the load suite in a matter of hours, even when you have no previous experience.
