I appreciate all the small details in Gather, such as the ability to set up call someone, organize games, setup desk with a lot of customization, etc.. Gather functions much like a virtual office, which is especially helpful since I work at a fully remote company. It makes it easier to socialize with colleagues, just as you would in a physical office, but in this case, everything happens within Gather. We can set up conference rooms, desks, offices, and more. I find Gather to be an excellent platform for chatting and discussing various topics with friends. It provides a great environment for open discussions, which is exactly what my friends and I need. I particularly love the decorating system and board games available on Gather; we spend a lot of time playing and enjoying these features. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Gather to be very easy, making the transition smooth and hassle-free. CTO Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) 7/8/2025 "Ideal for Fully Remote Teams" 5/5 What do you like best about Gather? I am the CTO of a startup that has been 100% remote since 2021. I have tried many solutions for creating "presence" and "connection" among the team and Gather is by far the best. We use it all day every day. It uses less CPU resources than trying to keep a video sharing app open all day. Their customizable office allows for many different ways of signaling your presence and is as close to actually being in an office as possible without being a burden. The ability to seamlessly connect with another individual or group without scheduling is a huge productivity booster. My team loves it as well since they don't need to schedule time to speak with me.
