## About Gateways
Gateways is a cloud infrastructure platform that deploys and operates your applications inside your own AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud account. Connect a cloud account and Gateways gives you a visual workspace for your infrastructure: create servers, databases, DNS, storage buckets, caches, static sites, and serverless functions, connect them together, and see live status across development, test, and production environments. Attach a domain to a running service and Gateways handles the hosted zone, DNS records, certificate, and SSL automatically — a task that normally takes 45 minutes of console work. A built-in terminal, file browser, and storage explorer are available when you need to work directly with a resource. Unlike hosted platforms, everything Gateways creates lives in your own cloud account under standard resource names. You keep your cloud credits, your data residency and compliance posture, and your existing billing relationship. If you stop using Gateways, your infrastructure keeps running unchanged. Gateways runs on standard virtual machines — no Kubernetes to operate and no Terraform to write. Built for startups with unused cloud credits, agencies managing multiple client accounts, and teams that need their own cloud for compliance reasons but don't have a dedicated platform engineer.
