What do you like best about GateKeeper Proximity Authentication?

What do you like best about GateKeeper Proximity Authentication?

Computers now lock on their own, and no password needs to be memorized. Providers can move seamlessly between computers or into and out of exam rooms with ease, thanks to the proximity tokens. A built-in password manager makes our users' lives much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GateKeeper Proximity Authentication?

I wished at one point that there was a password manager, but they've since implemented this as part of their solution. I am dropping LastPass now as a result and saving our department some money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GateKeeper Proximity Authentication solving and how is that benefiting you?

It isn't easy to gain buy-in on multifactor authentication when users are already stretched thin, especially medical professionals seeing as many as 100 encounters a day. Gatekeeper's proximity authentication combined with a PIN was a huge success in our environment because of the smoothness of the logon experience. Since I use the gatekeeper for my own use with my workstation, it solves my issue of having to log in and out and always having my computer ready to go as I walk into my office. The Auto lock and unlock of your pc with just your presence. The password management, audit logs and reports, ease of use, ease of management. Pretty much all of it!

What do you like best about GateKeeper Proximity Authentication?

Computers are left unlocked and unprotected coupled with weak passwords. Instead of using multiple different tools, GateKeeper automates security for computers, passwords, and websites. Many websites we use have weak passwords that are shared too often. Now, GateKeeper lets every user log in with a key instead of typing many different passwords. This makes life easier since no one needs to call the help desk for getting locked out of their computers. There's no longer any excuse for unsecure computers and not being able to get into web accounts since all you need is your key. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Computers in the open without being locked by their last user. GateKeeper now locks the PC automatically without doing anything.

Everyone was forgetting passwords to websites, getting locked out, and asking someone else to drop what they're doing to help - slowing down productivity. Now the Gatekeeper key lets users create complex and long passwords without every memorizing them.

People log in to many website but don't log out. Can't really force them. Instead, GateKeeper locks the computer someone used to login to websites, removing access to the accounts that are still logged in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
