What do you like best about Gartner?

There were a few IT professionals who had given reviews on Gartner which were little bit useful in making decisions. The customer support team was fast in replying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gartner?

There are so many fake reviews available on Gartner which were just out of concerned topics. There were only a few softwares listed on Gartner, most of the popular softwares and services are not there on Gartner. The software advice of Gartner was completely useless as were giving advices based on fake reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Gartner:

Gartner is having so many fake reviews which are just useless and time wasting. So, I would recommend other websites to get software advices like G2 Crowd, Capterra.com etc over Gartner Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gartner solving and how is that benefiting you?

I tried to find some advices on softwares I was thinking of to use for my work and for that I used Gartner and found that the reviews were just fake and most of the reviewers left useless information about the concerned questions related to the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Most reliable tool to understand the technology market"

What do you like best about Gartner?

1) Gartner has massive content available and it's reliable. I use the reports and presentations available on the Gartner portal for internal presentations.

What do you dislike about Gartner?

Some reports lack the depth of research which I require other than that its good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Gartner:

Gartner is expensive but if you want to solve some real challenges with regards to relevant insights to the industry and GTM then do get a Gartner license. Moreover, you can connect with industry analysts to understand how your product is performing in the market or how you make your product well known to the market. We are solving the following issues

1) Advisory- To align our services and products according to the market requirement

2) Data for presentation - gather insights for stakeholder presentation

I was tasked with DR. Not an easy task because of the layers of DR. I went to Gartner after a few talks with people to get some ideas what was the involvement with DR. What I like about Gartner is that it is not bias. They don't sell. Gartner have a lot of good articles with DR. They have good best practices too. They provide more info than anyone I have talked to. Moreover, they have people to assist with project and question. I used Gartner recommendation for DR to plan out my DR environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
