I like how it's setup for beginners, it makes it more appealing with its drag functionality. If you don't know what programming means then this is for you. Nice tool for 2D games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about GameMaker? Interface is ugly, drag and drop is laggy, Unity2D puts this entire software in the trash. Unity2D is free, and can do this and more, however it's more advanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering GameMaker: If you're new to programming or just prototyping a game, this is for you.
