Gaggle integrates into our Google suite here in our district. They monitor student-generated content such as documents and emails and do a great job sifting through and blocking inappropriate content and communications. My favorite feature is the human content vetting component when a person on Gaggles team looks at flagged content and in severe cases contacts the relevant staff at the school to handle the incident. Through Gaggle we have been able to identify bullying and self-harm messages and work through those issues with our internal counselor and psychologist. The fact that there is a robot review and a human reviews after is extremely important. Sometimes something can look dangerous to a robot but there is an explanation when a human reviews the alerts as well. Gaggle reviews out students emails and google drive documents. Gaggle's thorough performance on reviewing GSuite docs/items and email for all facets of student safety provides great assurance that our student's are being looked after, their ability to triage items on severity sets them apart from other products.
