Gaggle not only effectively flags student work or correspondence that could be dangerous, it also uses various modes of communication to make sure we get the message. Depending on the severity of situations, I have gotten emails, texts, and phone calls to make sure that any student identified as being immediately at risk gets the support that he/she needs. The only downside of Gaggle is having many classroom assignments in which students discuss traumatic things that have happened in their lives get flagged by the system.
It is well worth the conversations had with those students to be able to get the ones who are immediately in need into the office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
