Gaggle integrates into our Google suite here in our district. They monitor student-generated content such as documents and emails and do a great job sifting through and blocking inappropriate content and communications. My favorite feature is the human content vetting component when a person on Gaggles team looks at flagged content and in severe cases contacts the relevant staff at the school to handle the incident. Through Gaggle we have been able to identify bullying and self-harm messages and work through those issues with our internal counselor and psychologist. Gaggle will also forward relevant emails to our SRO in case of emergencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Gaggle? What problems is Gaggle solving and how is that benefiting you? Although not in any way limited to our school bullying, drugs, threats of violence, and self-harm do occur. Digital note-passing and bullying were previously very difficult to catch and prevent. Gaggle has helped greatly reduce the amount of inappropriate digital content being shared in the school. The fact that there is a robot review and a human reviews after is extremely important. Sometimes something can look dangerous to a robot but there is an explanation when a human reviews the alerts as well. Gaggle reviews out students emails and google drive documents. I cannot think of anything Gaggle needs to do to be better. They provide 24 monitoring and alter several people on our staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Gaggle monitors for self harm, harm to others or teachers and harm to school in emails and google drive. Gaggle is essential in helping our school maintain the safety of our students while online. Gaggle is a very valuable tool for our school district. I do not know of a better way to effectively help monitor our student communication systems. Sometimes the system is slow to respond to, or fails to respond to some inappropriate student communications. Occasionally, Gaggle will miss unwanted eMail solicitations. I really liked that it even sent reports on the weekends which helped us potentially save a life of a student who was struggling with suicidal thoughts when their parents were not at home. Gaggle's thorough performance on reviewing GSuite docs/items and email for all facets of student safety provides great assurance that our student's are being looked after, their ability to triage items on severity sets them apart from other products.
