**What do you like best about Gcore Services?**

We found Gcore Lab from a serch engine query. We agreed on their prices and we started a bare metal in Hong Kong to serve the Asian Region.

**What do you dislike about Gcore Services?**

We started an installation in Hong Kong with G-Core Labs in late 2023, contionueing for some months in 2024.
We have a global anycast network and everynode exchanges data with our HeadQuarter for updates and other daily maintenance jobs.

After some weeks, we started having a huge latency delay from Hong Kong to Europe, more than 400ms, with a very important packet loss.
It was impossible for us to exchange data and we had to shutdown the installation.

After different tickets to the G-Core Labs' technical support, they declared there was an issue with a fiber cable cut in the area and there was no way to solve in the short time.

Tipically, Cloud Providers have more Tier-1 transport or, anyway, route traffic to follow optimal performances and data exchange and collaboration.

After weeks and weeks, no solution had been implemented and we started the service with a Competitor in the area. All good after the change.

We didn't use the service since we had to shutdown the host in HongKong and we explained, more than one time, it was not right to pay for a service we had not been able to use it.

In late 2025, we had been contacted by an EU lawyer asking for the money.

**What problems is Gcore Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We asked to Gcore Lab to start a new bare metal in Hong Kong to improve our latency and presence in Asia.
