It does what it says: it allows us to automatically import data from Xero into Google Sheets, which powers our cashflow projections, profitability calculations, all of which are too complex to be managed within Xero itself. It is very easy to setup - you will need to familiarise yourself with some of the terminology. Integrating it was also easy, as simple as logging into Xero via the G-Accon extension for Google Sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about G-Accon? We did have an issue where the import was just too big for the sheet we were using; support were great, they advised using a middle-man sheet and then that imports into our primary sheet. G-Accon is the essential integration tool to empower your reporting speed I've been using G-Accon for just over a year and it has revolutionized the way we manage and report for our clients. The integration between Xero and G-Accon is incredibly efficient, seamlessly eliminating timely data dumps into excel spreadsheets. Our workflows are smoother and we have been given the ability to service more clients. Real-time Data Sync, A user friendly interface, and fully customizable reports, G-Accon is a must for any Accountant wanting to harness and leverage the financial data in Xero. We use it to combine data for royalty reporting purposes and we have over 3000 skus with over 25 licensing partners. What would take days to compile and report are now only minutes and automated. It does the job. Once you set it up, it really is set it and forget it. I have used it to feed data into company financial projection models in Google Sheets for years without issues. User interface and experience could be better. FP&A professionals are used to this and generally it does not prevent the effectiveness. Financial models I build need data from different sources and often those sources need additional transformations before they are usable. We also use the get accounting data frequently to edit data on a mass upload. The thing that is also extremely helpful is being able to bulk JE upload which saves us a lot of time!
