It produces reports against the EU Voluntary Standard (VS, formerly VSME), which the European Commission adopted on 3 July 2026, and calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions under the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. Who it is for: mid-sized companies that fell out of CSRD scope after the EU Omnibus but still receive sustainability data requests from customers, banks and investors. Many of them prepared for CSRD. Future Fluent lets them reuse that work in a proportionate VS report. What it does: - Guides users through all 20 VS disclosures, the Basic Module (B1 to B11) and the Comprehensive Module (C1 to C9), with cross-disclosure pre-fill. - Calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with spend-based and activity-based methods, using 100,000+ emission factors from sources including DEFRA, EPA, Exiobase and ADEME. - Exports to the EFRAG Excel template, XLSX, PDF, XBRL/iXBRL and SFDR PAI JSON. - Adds climate and location risk data (beta), based on Copernicus satellite data, and scenario planning for reduction targets. - Includes a free VS alignment check that scores an existing sustainability report against the standard. Pricing: Zero is free and self-service, with no credit card. It covers the VS Basic Module and Scope 1 and 2 accounting. Professional costs EUR 3,000 per year and adds the Comprehensive Module, Scope 3, climate risk and founder-led onboarding. How it differs: template tools give you a form to fill in. ESG suites cost EUR 10,000 or more per year and are built for CSRD. Future Fluent sits between them, with a full calculation engine and a free entry point. Security: row-level security, AES-256 encryption and full audit logging, hosted on SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure. Future Fluent AB is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
