## About OpsPilot
OpsPilot OpsPilot is an AI-powered observability and autonomous reliability platform with an AI Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teammate that helps engineering and operations teams detect, understand, and resolve incidents faster — and increasingly prevent them from happening at all. Your 24/7 stack expert Modern production systems — microservices, distributed architectures, cloud and hybrid environments — generate enormous volumes of telemetry. Your existing tools surface that data. But they still leave engineers responsible for interpreting signals, finding root causes, and deciding what to do next. OpsPilot closes that gap. It continuously analyzes telemetry across your applications, infrastructure, and services — then tells your team what is happening, why it is happening, and what to do about it. From dashboards to autonomous reliability OpsPilot goes beyond alerting and visualization. It correlates signals across metrics, logs, traces, and deployment events to identify abnormal behavior, explain root causes, and guide teams toward faster resolution — dramatically reducing time spent on incident investigation and operational troubleshooting. Over time, it evolves from reactive investigation toward proactive and autonomous operations. Your AI SRE teammate OpsPilot acts as an AI SRE teammate — augmenting your operations team by answering the questions engineers face during incidents: What changed? Where is the failure occurring? Which service is responsible? What should we investigate next? Three core capabilities Observability — collects and correlates telemetry across metrics, logs, traces, JVM data, and application-level diagnostics for a complete picture of system behavior. Operational Intelligence — applies AI-driven analysis to surface what changed, what is causing the issue, which components are involved, and what actions may resolve it. Foundational capabilities include anomaly detection, alert reduction, telemetry correlation, and root cause analysis. Action and Automation — supports guided incident response, runbook generation, automated remediation, and continuous operational learning — moving teams progressively toward autonomous reliability. OpenTelemetry-native. No new agents required. OpsPilot ingests telemetry via OTLP over gRPC or HTTP — no proprietary agent required. It works with your existing OpenTelemetry instrumentation across Kubernetes, microservices, cloud services, and serverless platforms. Prometheus-compatible metrics, Loki log ingestion, and Jaeger/Zipkin trace formats are also supported. For teams needing deep JVM or ColdFusion diagnostics, the optional FusionReactor APM agent provides additional application-level telemetry. Built for DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering teams OpsPilot is designed for organizations running modern production systems that require high reliability and operational efficiency — particularly teams moving toward SRE or platform engineering models who need deeper operational insight without increasing headcount. Deployed as SaaS, hybrid, or agentless via OpenTelemetry.

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Michael was so knowledgeable. In just 30 minutes, he was able to show us things in fusion reactor that we should be implementing. We already implemented some of his suggestions.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Nothing. The 30 minutes was a great introduction.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Performance monitoring and error trapping. We are already realizing the benefits of monitoring our server moe effectively.

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Easy to setup and get going with a great depth of features when you need them, cloud version is trivial to setup and immediately useful

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Can be a bit fiddly to configure dashboards and settings for protection and survival strategies. Being able to apply these across groups would be very handy.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In development we look at performance bottle necks and benchmarking. We also find the in-line debugging very effective.

We also use it to monitor our production servers providing excellent insight and early warnings of issues.

The cloud version has allowed us to deploy to AWS fargate and get immediate feedback as containers spin up and down giving us great insight to the application behaviour.

  ### 3. Must have tool for ColdFusion perfomance monitoring

Several performance issues in production environments under high load. Finding long running queries.
Concurrency tests in combination with Gatling.

  ### 4. Essential Kit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor is THE tool to monitor and tune your ColdFusion or Lucee environment. I've been using it for around 5 years now, and won't commission a server without it. Things that could take days to solve are fixed in minutes. They do a great job with their training videos and webinars too.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Nothing to dislike. It's a great product at a reasonable price

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Performance issues, identifying slow queries, resource hogs and facilitating code and DB tuning. It also helps to know what your system "looks like" when running normally, and the graphical dashboards make it easy to spot anomalies

  ### 5. A must-have for any CF Admin

**Reviewed by:** Tim S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

There isn't an environmental question I can't answer with FusionReactor. It's our go-to for app insights, metrics, and debugging.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

There's a LOT to digest, which is a great problem to have....but there's a ton there to learn.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing app server parity through FusionReactor, app performance across the prod cluster.

  ### 6. If You Are Running A ColdFusion Application Server, FusionReactor is a Must-Have Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor provides insights into your ColdFusion application server like no other utility/tool available. The amount of useful information is staggering and provides both high-level and granular details about your server running ColdFusion and how it is performing. Adobe ColdFusion (and really, any JVM-based software) requires a high level of understanding to manage effectively, and FusionReactor gives you a huge jump on building that understanding, especially if you are new to Java-based systems and software. The software's GUI and various dashboards and reports really take a lot of the guesswork out of ensuring your ColdFusion Application is running optimally, and gives you the insights required for an Enterprise-level application server.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

If I had to fault FusionReactor for anything, it integrates with ColdFusion a bit too well - when establishing a new ColdFusion instance, you must ensure the FR instance is set up as well before your CF instance will start. Makes sense, but wasn't apparent until we reached out to FR support (which is excellent and highly responsive) and explained what was going on.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned, the biggest benefits and solutions FR provides is the level of insight into what your ColdFusion application and JVM are doing and performing. For my team, we were coming from a .NET based system, and had little to no understanding of how a JVM-based system worked or the requirements for it to run at scale. FR easily gives you that stepping stone and gets you up and running quickly in knowing what is going on with your application far better than any of the other tools available, or even Adobe's own built-in utilities and logging.

  ### 7. Best tools for monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel A. | Junior Web Programmer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The details and the realtime monitoring.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

The history of the activity is too little. Can't see what we are missing.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

This is the tools you need If you are looking for easy to use tools to monitor your system

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security issues, db performance

  ### 8. Must-Have Analytics for ColdFusion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The ability to collect data on ephemeral instances and pay only when they are running, per hour.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Depending on how our infrastructure scales, costs could escalate

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

If you have standalone servers, either version is fine. Some developers prefer the local console. However, if you have dynamic instances, the per hour billing and cloud dashboard are phenomenal. Make sure you configure auto-joining groups!

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved multiple software issues by being able to analyze the issues we are having real-time.

  ### 9. Monitoring Made Easy Thanks to FusionReactor APM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor APM allows me to research bottlenecks with a simple click! Whether it's checking out which requests are taking too long to process, looking at the JDBC transactions to review which queries may need retooling, or looking over how the JVM memory heap is performing, everything is accessible with an easy-to-use navigation.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

I'm being honest and sincere here. I have yet to find anything to dislike about FusionReactor APM!

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

N/A

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FusionReactor APM has allows me to quickly research scripts that are causing problems with our application, helps me locate database queries that have slower than expected response times, gives me more control over handling the JVM memory heap &the Enterprise Dashboard gives me a nice overview of monitoring all of my servers.

  ### 10. Useful in-depth tool for monitor and performance metrics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom K. | Web Developer / Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The cloud service which I've recently started using is quite impressive, and tracks my commandbox docker containers automatically, including the automatic licencing stop/starts. The ability to see thread profiles, long running requests and length of things like cfhttp helps debug external APIs and identify where the potential bottlenecks are.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

It does require a certain amount of technical knowledge to use. There's no point in looking at 26 graphs of JVM memory and garbage collection times if these things mean nothing to you. Configuration of certain features is by environment flag, so you have to know roughly what you're doing there too.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Try the developer edition first to see if you get along with it

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identifying slow running requests within a cloud infrastructure which would normally be inaccessible; profiling of long running requests down to the Java function level, introspecting database SQL and identifying inefficient SQL or repeated SQL.

  ### 11. It helps to find problems quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yangyang L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Fusion Reactor is an innovative performance monitoring solution for Java applications in development, testing and production environments.it provides everything that Java developers need in an APM tool.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

no dislikes at this moment, I have yet to find anything to dislike about FusionReactor APM

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

problems: find database queries which take time
benefits : before deploying an application to a production environment, it is easier to find problems and improve code quality.

  ### 12. FR helps our team to get a more clear view about our services resources in general

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

I like the most that you can see in real time the running transactions

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

The "Requests" "History" sections seems to load just the web requests of the last minutes if you have a lot

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did solve problems when trying to identify the cause of outages in our services, in FR we can identify very fast which service is down or using too much cpu or memory

  ### 13. FusionReactor has proven invaluable in improving our application.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor provides incredible insight into the inner workings of our applications. What was previously an unknown black box is now exposed in granular detail, enabling us to fine tune each and every problematic request. After only a few weeks of use, the performance and efficiency gains have not only made our applications hum like a well-tuned Formula 1 car, but have made us better developers in the process.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

There is definitely a learning curve, but that is to be expected in a product that provides this unparalleled level of detail. The video learning resources help immensely in getting you up and running very quickly.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to profile long running requests is the biggest benefit we've enjoyed from using FusionReactor. This has reduced hours of troubleshooting down to minutes.

  ### 14. FusionReactor is the best thing to ever happen to CFML

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli F. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor allows me to monitor and quickly troubleshoot my ColdFusion and Lucee servers. You simply should not run an enterprise-grade ColdFusion application without it. I has saved me so much time getting to root cause faster. More uptime for my customers, more free time for me. On rare occasions I have had to reach out to Intergral for service or support, hands down, best support in the business. It's also reasonably priced, with many flexible licensing options available. Worth every penny.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Sometimes things are not where I expect them to be in the GUI.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Production web applications are incomplete without FusionReactor. Go ahead and install a cheaper subscription if you need it, or even a trial. That way it will be installed when you need it.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FusionReactor helps me determine where the problem lies, whether it be web server, traffic, Java, or database. I've solved all sorts of problems with FusionReactor over the last 10 years. It's also the go-to for our 24x7 monitoring team, allowing us to remotely troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly.

  ### 15. FR really helped us monitoring our works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

many features to monitor our program which really helpful

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

probably nothing I dislike, rarely found strange issues with FR too, but I did quite confused with FR features at first because the Interface kind of complicated for new users.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

better interface design for new users

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

problem like slow queries that could make server's down

  ### 16. A great product for JVM monitoring that like a fine wine, is getting better with time...

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Visibility has certainly been improved, allowing us to better perform root cause analysis beyond the basic troubleshooting we did before.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Their cloud/ephemeral service really needs to be improved (including the documentation for it), better, clearer and easier configurability will be key to driving this service forwards.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Get your environments into Docker and clean up your environments/pipelines prior to implementing.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inability to perform root-cause analysis, lack of visibility inside the JVM.

  ### 17. Great product with fantastic support, at a reasonable price.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Fusion Reactor Cloud gives unparalleled visibility of what our cloud hosted containerised CFML applications are doing, how they are performing, together with exception monitoring and alerting of pertinent events.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Fusion Reactor Cloud does not yet offer the full functionality available through direct access to a local installation. This is something which Integral are moving towards, and hopefully will be improved further in future updates.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Pre-sales team are really helpful - if you are not 100% certain regarding requirements, then speak to them first, as they will no doubt be able to give you specific advice regarding your use case!

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud hosted ephemeral applications - being able to view what is happening in realtime, without having to rely on specific logging and metrics.

  ### 18. Within a single day, it proved its worth.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

With the Cloud dashboard, our Docker containers are automatically registered and deregistered as deployments go out. This makes keeping the server dashboard up-to-date without having to worry about activating and deactiving licenses. This creates a joyful development and debugging life-cycle.

The most powerful feature that we've used so far is the automatic profiling of long-running requests. This has proved to be enormously value for debugging bottlenecks as we can see exactly where the requests are being blocked by processing. With this feature, we were able to, within a single day, vastly improve the responsiveness and stability of our service.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

I am not a big fan of the "dark mode" that the Cloud dashboard uses. I find it hard to read than the stand-alone Enterprise dashboard.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest issue has been random spikes in CPU and Memory allocation. This has been very hard to figure out with other APM tools. However, with FusionReactor, we were immediately able to see where long-running requests were sitting and thrashing. With that information, we were able to take steps to dramatically increase the performance of our long-running scripts.

  ### 19. Tools which can help analyze application performance

it help to check and analyze application server transaction.
it gives a lot of information and useful log files which can help us to improve our code quality and application performance

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

actually I can't find a flaw, first might be the UI but when i get used to it, so far so good

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mostly related with database transaction, it can identify the response time when we call query, we can detect, analyze and make changes to improve the performance.

  ### 20. perfect Monitoring Tool for our applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

we like the debugging functions on productive systems

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

the hoover and mouseover menus are not the best

we found the reasons of some performance problems

  ### 21. Best diagnostic tool ever created!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven P. | Senior Application Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

I love the stack traces and how you can drill right down into the problem.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Nothing I don't like really. Like I said it's the best

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Read all of the documentation. Otherwise you will never know the full power of the product. Keep it updated and pay attention to support emails and bug alerts.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to identify bottlenecks in our entire infrastructure thanks to FR

  ### 22. Excellent Product for Monitoring My Lucee Application

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan A. | Director of Technologies, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor gives me in-depth insights into my application performance and supports all aspects from development to production. It is a very powerful application that allows you to look at every aspect of performance, from requests to debugging. It is incredible to see how much is available for users to take advantage of.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Don't love the pricing in a cloud environment. Ours is a small application! In addition, I have had a little difficulty with some of the more advanced protection features, though, in fairness, I have not had the opportunity to take advantage of the support available. Part of the problem I encountered in my deployment is that a lot of the resources that are available via support are for an older version of the product which made it a bit more complicated to find the information that I needed.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Take time to learn how to best use the features. You will need to dedicate some time to learn how to use the product through guides and videos. It is super-simple to deploy but it is not necessarily as simple to get the most value out of the product.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FusionReactor simplifies so many aspects of error tracking and correction. It is a must have for tuning and monitoring and really lets you get deep into the performance of the application. Very important for our workflow is the ability to closely look at query performance analytics.

  ### 23. Been a long time user and couldn't do my job effectively without FusionReactor.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave H. | Director Of Information Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Dashboard and the ability to see all processes and resources being used.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Not a fault of FusionReactor, but would love a quicker Kill Process routine. Sometimes I need to restart Java process to get the server back.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

If you are running a CF server, you would be a fool not have this tool at your disposal. Without it, you can't see what CF resources are being used or what type of performance your queries are providing.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

seeing what processes are running on the server that are taking up my resources.

  ### 24. The best tools for diagnosing and analyze the process in coldfusion or lucee

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

I can analyze and check the long request in my application.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

the log for slow process in jdbc, the sql info is cut. Not show all

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

It would be great if fusion reactor have the office in Indonesia

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slow query in my application. And also I can analyze in which part my process is slow.

  ### 25. FusionReactor review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

It's very useful for real-time monitoring of the applications and you can also look at the data historically so you can investigate what went wrong when the system was down or performing slow.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Their cloud service needs to be improved (including the documentation for it).

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To analyze what causes the system to work slowly.

  ### 26. Efficient & Effective Server Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer H. | Senior ColdFusion Developer, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor APM is an invaluable tool used by all in our organization. Its user-friendly UI provides at a glance status of all servers with drill down details and complete ease of use. It has practical applications for all user levels of server monitoring - from the most basic to the most in depth. We value the wide range realtime and logged metrics that are readily available. It is a tool that is used by entire IT team - from developers, to DBAs to NetOps

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

We love the cube view that shows in the local install. That view is missing on the cloud interface. Would love to see it there.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

I would install in your local environment first to become familiar with the user interface.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FusionReactor APM has helped us isolate bottlenecks and problematic database processes, etc. It has been an incredibly useful tool in optimizing our network and database.

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The ability to understand my ColdFusion server and applications from the dashboard, and drill down to the problems that were happening were so helpful to keep our vendor management system running. Incredible product!

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

I would like to see the ability to design your own dashboard. If that already exists, then I need to go back to the manual!

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Learn it and use it!

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Troubleshooting, primarily, but it was essential for our penetration test problem solving and learning where are hangups were.

  ### 30. Essential Tool for ColdFusion Applications or Java VM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony B. | Software Developer and Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Our development team uses the Developer Edition which saves time when trouble shooting issues during the development process. Developers can immediately determine what the server is doing and where to target their attention. The tool has aided us in identifying issues related to the memory usage, inefficient queries and much more. Bottom line, FusionReactor saves time and development costs.

Our operations team uses the FusionReactor Enterprise Cloud to monitor and diagnose performance issues in our production environment. The cloud product allows us to aggregate all our server’s metrics in an easy to use enterprise dashboard. This is invaluable when you run your applications in multiple data centers and many servers. It allows us to identify the server exhibiting a performance issue and quickly apply corrective action.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

We leverage containers quite heavily in our development and production environments. The only issue we have run into is once a container is destroyed, it is marked offline and the cloud product does not show metrics or transactions any longer. In other words, the data displayed is only from running servers which makes it difficult to perform a postmortems.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

If you are using containers in your infrastructure take the time to ask questions related to licensing. Make sure you describe in detail how you are running your development and/or production environments.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool allows us to isolate the root cause of issues in our applications. We save time when looking for issues whether relates query performance, dead locks, threads in our scheduled task runner or the Java VM.

  ### 31. Awesome tool - I can't live without it as a CF developer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan J. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor gives me 100% useful insights into individual web requests, very detailed, can't live without it. Also works great for local development, not only to monitor and troubleshoot production servers. Finding performance issues is so much easier when using FusionReactor.
Typically and especially in complex web applications (think MVC, layered architecture, etc.) sometimes those nasty db-query-in-loop are tough to find. Easy as pie with FR.
Also very helpful to see the pain-points of your website/app - those slow running requests which no one reported yet. As a developer you can proactively work on performance improvements if checking this list of long-runners on a regular basis.
Using the developer edition locally together with the CommandBox integration is a no-brainer and should be the tool-of-choice for every single CF developer. Intergrals latest addition of all the features of the Ultimate edition to the developer edition is really helpful. I will definitely start playing with the FusionReactor Live Debugger in the future more.
On production servers, the daily/weekly email reports as well as the alerts on long running requests are much appreciated. We would never find out about some of those things if we would not use FR in production.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

The licensing (activating/deactivating) locally sometimes is annoying in some rare specific instances, but that's about it. No real dislike at all.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Go try it out before actually running into problems, it helps so much during daily live.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting detailed information, specifically in regards to database activity during web requests.

  ### 32. Best ColdFusion Monitor in the World

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Information Technology Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Adobe's performance monitor is a real time tool. FusionReactor allows you to look at performance data historically, so you can investigate what was going on when something is broken. You can see what pages were running, which templates had errors, etc. - all in historical time periods.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

That it isn't bundled in ColdFusion Enterprise. Adobe should have licensed it and made it part of their Enterprise server years ago.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolving what was running to cause thread waits. See historical garbage collection statistics to compare with performance issues related to major GC.

  ### 33. FusionReactor Allows us to Create a Stable CF Environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James E. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor is invaluable both for diagnosing problems and optimizing performance. It feels like flying blind without it, it makes it so much quicker to get the bottom of server problems. The documentation is comprehensive and well laid out. The free webinars with Charlie Arehart were a particularly good idea, Charlie is a great communicator and these were fantastic to learn how to get the most out of the product.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

It is pricey. We are a small organization and rely on FR.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

(1) Server instability and performance issues
(2) Helps us figure out bottlenecks and prioritize problem code for refactoring

  ### 34. Very useful, informing us of all the errors on the server and SQL performance issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William D. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Transaction Error History and ability to drill into error details for debugging.
The Longest Transactions report
Activity report is very useful for selecting when to do maintenance and when not to load new code

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

When it was first installed it hanged the Lucee server and we had to contact FR sort this issue

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Use consultant to implement unless you have used it before, as it takes a while to get the full benefit of software

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Early days for us, still clearing down the Transaction Errors, it should stop bugs making it into production site and spotting them before the client reports them. Not started using the Production Debugger yet, so potential to speed up debugging.

  ### 35. Great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan S. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor provides detailed insight into our ColdFusion applications and helps us to quickly identify bottlenecks and problematic threads.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

On high volume applications, historic request information can quickly leave the memory buffer. While you can inspect logs to get his information, it's a different UI and not intuitive to find (we had to have a someone from Integral show us the feature was there).

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

If you are hesitating whether or not to invest in purchasing the product, make sure to install the trial. The amount of time FusionReactor saves us in troubleshooting each year makes it worth the investment.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us to quickly find problematic requests and identify which JDBC requests are poorly performing. We also use it to compare historic performance between releases, to make sure we are not seeing an performance regressions.

  ### 36. FusionReactor APM, much more than a simple traditional APM tool.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** noah b. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusiónReactor APM is without a doubt one of my best tools for real-time monitoring of my applications, database, users, among others. A very complete and indispensable tool for my work. There are many aspects that I like about FusionReactor, but these are the main ones:
-JDBC automatic adjustment does not require configuration and almost all screens or panels are customizable.
- The profiler is amazing, perfect to tell me exactly what each request did.
- the user interface is clean and easy to navigate, but not simplistic
-The ability to deepen and discover specific problems of memory or database is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

I have no problem so far, the price is quite reasonable compared to everything it offers and the installation is very simple.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

I absolutely recommend it. As I have been saying throughout the review, it is an excellent option as an APM tool, it really goes beyond any traditional tool and is very complete, light and easy to use, without a doubt my best option so far.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FusionReactor APM, has helped me a lot in search of any performance problem of my databases and applications, really thanks to the fact that it is a fairly complete tool, the work has become much easier and faster.

  ### 37. Invaluable Insights with FusionReactor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Forrest H. | Solutions Architect, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

I love the ability to immediately gain insight into actual, real world production issues and the system factors behind them. From system resources to network or database congestion and conflicts, it's all right there at your fingertips!

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

I dislike that my enterprise has chosen not to embrace many of the powerful features available to us such as FusionReactor Cloud, which would allow to gain immediate insight to problems across the enterprise, or live production debugging to be able to work through immediate problems in production. This is not due to any concerns with the tools whatsoever, they are rock solid. It is merely a lack of vision for what we could gain from such an investment.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fusion Reactor has been key in helping us work through issues in deploying our new platform, where we have had a number of challenges, primarily related to our implementation of a relatively new, open sourcedataabse backend. Without FusionReactor, it would have taken extensive work to work out these issues.

  ### 38. A must-have tool for solving complex issues with our java-based application in dev and production

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | Co-Founder and Group CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

That is lightweight enough to run in production

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

I'd like to be able to setup a standard config across all our instances

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowed us to get to the bottom of some significant stability issues that we just couldn't reproduce in test with load testing. By being able to run the full profiler in live with no noticable performance impact when the issues manifested we were able to see a complete analysis and quickly introduce fixes and see the effects

  ### 39. It just worked

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimitar P. | Software Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Installation process is quite simple. Without any modifications or settings the amount of data you get is just sufficient to monitor your app. Also there are a lot of stats showing up. The built-in filters offer common preconfigured choices, which I find quite useful when trying to spot a problem or look around for bottlenecks.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

I needed about an hour to understand which part and/or installation type I need for my specific case. Once figured out, it worked as expected.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

This tool is not a common java profiling tool. In some aspects it provides less info than a profiler, but you also get the monitoring functionality. You can leave it running in your JVM without any noticable performance drop.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is pretty straightforward to spot bottlenecks or work on performance optimizations. And as a general health monitoring tool.

  ### 40. Invaluable toward visibility within Coldfusion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph T. | Principal Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor provides visibility to running processes including runaway JDBC calls. This has been invaluable because of its ability for us to understand and improve our product's database optimization.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

It is a little pricey for the function but I did say it is invaluable. This is because there is no workable solution to the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

If you can afford the cost. It is very much worth it. Coldfusion is too bulky to not have good visibility.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gaining visibility to our running and lengthy processes.

  ### 41. Just as useful as a development tool as it is for production debugging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad W. | Senior Application Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FR is very polished with tons of data. Automatic JDBC wrapping takes zero setup and nearly every screen or dashboard is customizable. I use FR to debug queries that have run, how long they took, and even to fish out long running requests. I always use it when performance testing, and it has excellent reporting on the most hit pages and DB calls in my app. The profiler is the best tool I've never seen to tell me exactly what a request did after it's done executing by pinpointing the exact lines of code in the stack traces that spent the most time.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

FR is not free like other tools, but it also offers immensely more features once you get to know it. Now that they offer a cheap developer license, it is much more accessible.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

There is a 2 week trial you can use for free. The simplest installation method is via the commandbox-fusionreactor module for CommandBox CLI.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for general web development to track the processing of Ajax calls and REST APIs that can't output debug information easily to the browser. I use it as a companion tool to JMeter when performance testing to track web request and JDBC throughput as well as response times, status codes, and errors. I've used it to find production errors, memory leaks, and performance issues as well. It also can notify me of long running requests so I have a heads up immediately if my site has slowed down. FR Cloud also serves as a consolidated place for metrics from my Docker swarm.

  ### 42. Invaluable tool for development and production servers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike C. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The real time monitoring of code execution and introspection of your templates and server health has saved us countless hours troubleshooting and optimizing our applications. We've used this product for at least 10 years and have it installed on every single server we spin up.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

It doesn't make coffee and it won't mow my lawn.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

There is a free trial if you have any questions.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Code and server troubleshooting in both development and production environments. Nothing else lets us solve problems with slow scripts, slow db queries or server bottlenecks like Fusion Reactor. Clients have come to us with server or application issues that they have been trying to troubleshoot for months. We installed Fusion Reactor and within a few hours pinpointed the problem and had a fix in place.

  ### 43. Fantastic insight!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason E. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor provides amazing insight into the server health, specifically in regards to the way ColdFusion is operating. The reporting and visualization into the server are fantastic!

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Really not much I can say here. We rarely have issues with FR as an application, but if we do the support group helps resolve it quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Where you're finding issues with code and resources that aren't easily identifiable or prompt resolution is critical, FusionReactor can really make a significant difference in you debugging and daily operations for overall application management!

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can zero in on issues MUCH faster with FR and solve problems in a fraction of the time. When we have a lot of programmers providing code sometimes the most expensive part in debugging is finding the issue - with FR we can really hone in on the issue MUCH FASTER. The reporting and tools are second to none.

  ### 44. Fusion reactor help us perform better

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve F. | Programmeur Analyste, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The thing we like the most is the fact that we can test the impact that our newest developpment have on our server and we can test wich method is the best solution performance wise.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Well the only thing I dislike is that I don't have enough time in my work days to use it more.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It help us monitoring the impact of our new development on our server

  ### 45. Best root cause analysis Java tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Director of EMEA Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The installation is simple - I typically go with the manual JAR install because it's super simple... drop a JAR on the filesystem and add a JVM argument.
Once running, the UI is easy to navigate - but not overly simplistic. You can drill down from high-level overview charts down to profiling stack-traces within a few clicks.
Easily the best tool I've used for root causes analysis on the JVM - and one of the cheapest too.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor can do long-term trending but it's not it's strongest feature. In my experience, FusionReactor is much better at solving acute problems - sometime automatically through its crash protection features.
The cloud offering is improving all the time and does have better long-term trending (e.g. capacity planning)

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Install and give it a go - there's a 14day free trial.
Automated installer is great if you have a GUI. If you're in a container or CLI only, manual install is super-simple.
Try the profiling features!

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Root cause analysis (in production) of acute failures. When there's a problem in production sometimes it's not so simple to replicate - perhaps your data tier doesn't have the same volume or differentiating set of data; or perhaps the network topology, redundancy or traffic levels are different. FusionReactor adds no noticable overhead and gives a wealth of insight - it's always running and ready for us if we have a problem.

  ### 46. Important for debugging resource issues fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nine P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Great interface, lots of options. We use this to keep track of how things are functioning on days when there is an increase in traffic and to debug issues when something goes wrong.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Nothing so far. I could say price but I think it's worth it.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better uptime. Quicker resolution of problems.

  ### 47. A must have tool for monitoring CF apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimitris D. | Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The most helpful feature of FusionReactor is the fact that you can introspect all the requests running in production. You can easily see how much time it takes to run a specific process, identify its pain points and optimise them. What is highly appreciated is also the profiling functionality! You can even profile your app and dig into very low level optimisations which otherwise would be not easily pinpointed!

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

What probably needs more rework is the documentation when you are exporting the java cache files from the FR JVM. I spent quite some time looking into what each value ment, which could have been better documented.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Since there is a lack of actual debugging tools for ColdFusion, I consider FusionReactor to be the only tool that actually gives you an insight within your application!

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real time monitoring of processes is a huge benefit. Optimising slow processes is a huge plus.

  ### 48. The De Facto Standard for ColdFusion / Java Application Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | Founding Partner, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

FusionReactor is a necessary tool if you're running a ColdFusion application of any appreciable size. Not helpful, not convenient. Necessary.

It provides insights and alerts that you're not going to get anywhere else, and in many cases it's the only tool that's going to be able to help you track down obscure bugs, memory leaks, or other issues that make you want to pull your hair out. And on top of that, the team behind it is incredibly responsive and always pushing the product forward.

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

The price of the Ultimate Edition is the biggest pain point. Configuration and use within a containerized environment continues to improve, but still isn't as strong/easy/helpful and the on-premise FR offering.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

If you're considering FusionReactor, talk to the team there and evaluate the product (it's free to trial). They can answer your questions and help you get started. There's no-risk, and the benefits are obvious from the moment you start using it.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefit is twofold. 1) FusionReactor provides alerting when there are issues with our applications. We set thresholds for memory usage, request quantity, or request length, and we get alerts when they're exceeded. This is helpful in proactively addressing potential issues. 2) FusionReactor also provides detailed insight into what is going on within applications, which we'll use when we need to track down the cause of a problem or an area that we'd like to optimize.

  ### 49. FusionReactor APM with Coldfusion in production

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

The ability to quickly pinpoint the causes of bottlenecks or errors

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Some error reporting can be vague, would like option of possibly showing some best practices or advanced tips on remedying issues (just as suggestions)

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

If you are running a ColdFusion environment this is the only tool you should be considering.

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FusionReactor is a huge piece of our development and production environment. By quickly being able to pinpoint bottlenecks or errors we are able to remedy issues in near real time and provide a better experience for our clients.

  ### 50. Use it every day to solve knotty problems or help guide tuning efforts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie A. | Server Troubleshooting Consultant (Remote, On-demand), Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2019

**What do you like best about OpsPilot?**

Helps find issues quickly, easily, and safely; supporting complex or simple setups equally well. While its largest user base may be ColdFusion, it can be used to monitor any java application or application server, which I have done many times. And new features are added every few months making it ever-more capable. Finally, the company behind the product has shown rock-solid support for any issues I've seen brought to them for over 15 years

**What do you dislike about OpsPilot?**

Some might quibble with the (low) cost, compared to free options, but it does so much more than those--and indeed more than many costing far more.

**Recommendations to others considering OpsPilot:**

Certainly give the free trial a go. It was just updated recently to allow up to 3 servers, so you can see how easily it installs, how readily it helps you see what's really going on, and even across monitoring of multiple servers (including dynamic containers like Docker).

**What problems is OpsPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding reasons for crashes, being warned of crashes; finding what's going on now, or went on in the past; finding reasons for slow request, slow queries; finding all this and more for a single server or across a cluster of them
