There is downtime. **What problems is Finastra Originate Mortgagebot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loan application is a breeze. There are hard stops if you are missing data which is very helpful. ### 2. However, there is a lot of issues with doc prepping and application being alerted for errors that don't exist. **What do you dislike about Finastra Originate Mortgagebot?** A lot of maintenance is needed, program lacks effectiveness and help desk lacks hands on knowledge. They refer you to the website to figure everything out on your own. **What problems is Finastra Originate Mortgagebot solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is good for generating an application and gathering all the data for a complete application. The LAR pull is helpful for initial HMDA scrubbing and the ability to upload to Quest Soft. ### 3. When I was on Encompass it was much easier. **What problems is Finastra Originate Mortgagebot solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can't think of anything off the top of my head. ### 4. POS is alright, but too many work-arounds, slowness, billion updates but nothing gets better. **Recommendations to others considering Finastra Originate Mortgagebot:** Skip it! Get encompass, so customizable. **What problems is Finastra Originate Mortgagebot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Processing mortgage applications start to finish. It is easy to click through. But too many custom fields to make it work as an LOS.
