I love that this product is easy to set up and use. I have a need to track time to the minute, and this makes it simple. I need to see my reports by time, and be able to separate projects within clients by time. This also allows for easy invoicing and ease of keeping track of those invoices. I don't need every function under. the sun. What it does, it does well for me at a reasonable price. I've had one minor issue to connect with customer support, and they were super responsive. Planning invoices and making my own reports are two of FreshBooks' most appealing features. Even individuals without accounting background will find its user interface to be straightforward and simple to use, making financial management a joy. In addition to keeping track of spending, I am also adept at managing invoices and generating financial reports; our company has also been successful in performing sales tax computations. I really enjoy how you can sync your bank transactions so you always know when your accounts are up-to-date. Freshbooks allows you to quickly setup everything you need for a small to medium, service based, business. They have all the things you need to get running, including payment processing, invoice sending, estimates, and more!

Freshbooks is consistently changing, which causes you to need to change to!

Three years in and I'm on my second embedded processor. The second embedded processor has now had created a second, separate, account for literally no reason.

They have increased their pricing to be just as high as the more capable QuickBooks Online. Their pages prompt you to refresh, instead of just refreshing themselves.

Their banking connections just don't work sometimes, and they'll not be helpful nor when cominicative trying to get that fixed. I had random sign in attempts on my online banking for almost two weeks before FB finally moved me to another sync service! Random sign in attempts on online banking should NEVER EVER HAPPEN. EVER.

On top of this, they engage in the same lies about processing time as all payment handlers. You will always *actually* get your money hours or days after they "send" it. We all know this could be instant, but they're making money on the float.

Mobile app will not let you view an invoice without editing it. Mobile app forces you into a weird set of options when you want to save an invoice. Mileage tracking in the app is very unreliable. Not all services available on the website, including the browser version, are available in the app.

The free accountant user is not capable of doing all the tasks and accountant would need.

Your supposed salesperson will not respond to emails following rate increases. In fact, they will never talk to you again after they give you 3 to 6 months discounted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With every update they keep REMOVING features, gatekeeping and charging more for others.

They remove payment gateways, force updates, REQUIRE you to use their payment gateway, "accidently have bugs" in their system that make you lose clients stored payment information and overall simply just make life very MISERABLE.

It has all of the fundamentals and none of the fluff. When I was a paying customer of Quickbooks, I felt like they were always tryign to sell me extra stuff I didn't really need. Freshbooks treats me like the paying customer I am, and not a sales lead extra junk.

I love the user interface. Not only does it allow me to do core functions in each designated section, but it also allows me to accomplish related tasks without leaving the section I am in.

And decent financial reporting keeps track of my performance throughout the year.
