What do you like best about FreshBooks?

That I can get a hold of customer service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FreshBooks?

No PDF attachments for recurring invoices. Pictures of reciepts can not be zoomed into. Also pics of reciepts are not showing up in App. Was better before you turned everything over to Stripe. I should be able to get all my processing into in Freshbooks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FreshBooks?

I recently started using FreshBooks, and so far it's been a smooth and convenient experience. It’s especially helpful for tracking invoices and managing credit card payments. What do you like best about FreshBooks?

The invoicing feature is excellent. It takes just minutes to create professional-looking invoices and send automated payment reminders.

• Time tracking and project-based billing are smooth and easy to integrate with client work.

• I love the expense tracking with receipt scanning — it saves so much time during tax season.

What do you dislike about FreshBooks?

Limited customization on financial reports. If you need in-depth reporting or forecasting, you may find FreshBooks lacking.

• It’s a bit pricey compared to alternatives, especially if you manage multiple clients or need multiple users.

FreshBooks is solving the problem of time-consuming and disorganized accounting for small businesses and freelancers. Before using FreshBooks, I was managing invoices, expenses, and client payments manually across spreadsheets and emails. It was messy, error-prone, and took up hours of my week.

With FreshBooks:

• Invoicing is automated and professional, helping me get paid faster and follow up on late payments without awkwardness.

• Expense tracking is centralized, with easy receipt uploads and categorization, which makes tax time stress-free.

• Time tracking is built-in, so billing clients for hours worked is accurate and easy.

• Client communication is streamlined—I can send estimates, invoices, and project updates from the same platform.

What do you like best about FreshBooks?

The ongoing reconciliation process makes it really efficient and customer service has been outstanding! I also love how aesthetically pleasing the program is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FreshBooks?

My biggest gripe is that when I create an estimate for say $ 100,000 and want my initial invoice to be 10% of the estimate the program calls it a deposit then requires that I set up a pay schedule which I always have to go in later to edit. So Progress Billing isn't as functional as it could be. In addition to that, it doesnt change the invoice number so I add letters to that invoice number as I progress bill. I have found a work around but had to get creative and had to explain to some of my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
