I have a need to track time to the minute, and this makes it simple. I need to see my reports by time, and be able to separate projects within clients by time. This also allows for easy invoicing and ease of keeping track of those invoices. I don't need every function under. the sun. What it does, it does well for me at a reasonable price. What problems is FreshBooks solving and how is that benefiting you? A TON. Invoicing, adding taxes to invoices. Calculating expenses. Allowing me to link my bank account. (Which needs a bit of work. It often unlinks) Creating proposals. Seeing that a client has view an email. Too much to name. –I'm going to add what needs to be fixed here. Since there's no other place to do it. – Freshbooks is amazing all except for the milage tracking. I used the auto tracking where I went through all the steps to let it track my location, (set to always, set to precise location) all the steps Freshbooks mentioned. And it never tracked my location accurately. It would always calculate the route with straight short distances, shorting my miles. 

So, I started doing everything manually, but that’s a hassle too, because if I have to input each location, 4 times per day worked. And there’s not option to save address.

So, if I work 1 day at a particular studio and drive from my home to that location. I have to type in my address, then the location address for the “To” deduction. Then driving back home, I have to retype the studio location, then my home address for the “from” deduction. If I do this 3-4 times a week, it gets incredibly tedious. Not to mention it makes me input a time (which I’d like the option to bypass) but at the very least it would be nice to not have it track my phone’s time. And use last inputed time so it doesn’t keep incrementally changing as I spend the time manually typing each address in for the week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Planning invoices and making my own reports are two of FreshBooks' most appealing features. Even individuals without accounting background will find its user interface to be straightforward and simple to use, making financial management a joy. In addition to keeping track of spending, I am also adept at managing invoices and generating financial reports; our company has also been successful in performing sales tax computations. I really enjoy how you can sync your bank transactions so you always know when your accounts are up-to-date. What problems is FreshBooks solving and how is that benefiting you? To keep tabs on company money, send out invoices, and manage our bookkeeping, we utilize FreshBooks. Because of it, we have been able to automate time-consuming and error-prone tasks like repeating invoicing and tracking overdue payments. We are now better able to see the company's financial health and make strategic decisions thanks to the transparency of financial reporting. It facilitates a plethora of tasks, including expense control, budgeting, report review, invoice creation and sending, and payroll processing. Freshbooks allows you to quickly setup everything you need for a small to medium, service based, business. They have all the things you need to get running, including payment processing, invoice sending, estimates, and more! Customer service is very friendly. Freshbooks is consistently changing, which causes you to need to change to! Three years in and I'm on my second embedded processor. The second embedded processor has now had created a second, separate, account for literally no reason. They have increased their pricing to be just as high as the more capable QuickBooks Online. Their pages prompt you to refresh, instead of just refreshing themselves. Their banking connections just don't work sometimes, and they'll not be helpful nor when cominicative trying to get that fixed. I had random sign in attempts on my online banking for almost two weeks before FB finally moved me to another sync service! Random sign in attempts on online banking should NEVER EVER HAPPEN. EVER. On top of this, they engage in the same lies about processing time as all payment handlers. You will always \*actually\* get your money hours or days after they "send" it. We all know this could be instant, but they're making money on the float. Mobile app will not let you view an invoice without editing it. Mobile app forces you into a weird set of options when you want to save an invoice. Mileage tracking in the app is very unreliable. Not all services available on the website, including the browser version, are available in the app. The free accountant user is not capable of doing all the tasks and accountant would need. Your supposed salesperson will not respond to emails following rate increases. In fact, they will never talk to you again after they give you 3 to 6 months discounted. They remove payment gateways, force updates, REQUIRE you to use their payment gateway, "accidently have bugs" in their system that make you lose clients stored payment information and overall simply just make life very MISERABLE. When I was a paying customer of Quickbooks, I felt like they were always tryign to sell me extra stuff I didn't really need. Freshbooks treats me like the paying customer I am, and not a sales lead extra junk. I love the user interface. Not only does it allow me to do core functions in each designated section, but it also allows me to accomplish related tasks without leaving the section I am in. It is a smart product all around. And decent financial reporting keeps track of my performance throughout the year.
