I love how powerful Frends is. It offers good performance and uptime, which are crucial for our needs. I appreciate the easiness of creating processes and integrations, especially since we work with BPMN processes. This makes it much easier for IT and business stakeholders to collaborate. Monitoring is also straightforward; it’s easy to follow up and see the progress of processes and schedule processes. Additionally, the initial setup of Frends was very easy, and that's a big plus for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Frends? I want more and better possibilities for testing processes or parts of processes. Frends has them on their roadmap but at 0% progression. It gives me an overview of all systems and integrations, which I didn't have before. I use Frends for all our integration needs because it offers an easy and modern way to integrate with any kind of endpoint. I love the superior error handling and debugging features; building sufficient error handling was very time consuming with our previous integration platform, but now it requires almost no time at all. Good debugging helps in error situations and aids in development. It's also very user friendly. I appreciate that they keep the system modern by adding new features, like AI helpers, which are useful for adding custom code. It’s an iPaaS that works very smoothly when developing new integrations. I also like that the tasks are “open source,” which means I can easily develop new features and implement them. I wouldn’t say I dislike anything, but I have noticed a few small gaps in functionality in areas that are fairly common in the IT industry—for example, standardized SOAP handling. I appreciate how Frends enables seamless integration between OnPremise and cloud environments, making it easier to transition legacy systems to the cloud. The capability to open up legacy system features for use outside the traditional on-premise network is invaluable to me. Additionally, I find the API support and numerous integration methods in Frends to be extremely versatile, allowing for fast integration into new solutions. The setup process for Frends is also fast and easy, which enhanced my organization's efficiency from the outset.
