"CRASHES AND NO REFUND"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Freemake?

good reviews, modern interface, good reputation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freemake?

CRASHES AND NO REFUND (within 24h of purchase).

Crashes when I convert a 3Gig 1920 x 1080 video file to a lower resolution (regardless of video format). This is occurs on 2 of my computers incl a 1 year old Lenovo Core i7 with 16G..

I asked for a refund (a measly $5), and they want me to correspond with them trying to debug why this is happening.. SORRY my time preoccupied with YOUR DEBUG is worth MUCH MORE than the $5 purchase fee.. So don't waste my time, and give me my refund.. But they are now bringing up Terms that say I have to partake in debugs before a refund.. GIMME A BREAK, it's only $5, not worth my time or your negative publicity.. (and here we are)

Stop trying to use your customers as a debug team, esp when they don't want to solve the problem (for you), but would rather get on with their working day (which is what the software was bought for).. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An easy way to download and convert"
5/5
What do you like best about Freemake?

On many occasions, we editors must add content to help teachers with school activities. One way to do this is by proposing the use of videos as part of learning strategies. In this sense, I've been looking for multimedia content adapted to the grade and subject, so Freemake has been a great ally to quickly and easily download those videos that interest me. I can also convert them to other formats such as AVI, WMV, FLV, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freemake?

It's an excellent program that I have nothing to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An excellent magnificent video conversion tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Freemake?

Freemake is an excellent tool for video conversion and editing, it helps me a lot in my work organization because I have to prepare video tutorials and Freemake performs the conversion between formats impeccably. For example, if I need to convert an hour of video from Windows Media Video format to MP4 format, it does so satisfactorily and without losing any quality. It allows working with a multitude of formats such as AVI, WMV, Apple, DVD, MPEG, MP4, and many more. It also allows working with MP3 format by converting the sound if desired. The interface is very simple and easy, anyone with little knowledge of this type of software can easily carry out their production work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freemake?

There are some things that need to be improved in Freemake, such as the conversion time when the files are very large and contain many minutes of duration; the conversion can become slow if working with low-resource equipment. Sometimes, some very little-known video formats are not compatible and are not supported by Freemake. An improvement in the sound aspect would also be important to avoid losing quality. If configuration is required to significantly reduce the file size, the final result may have a noticeable loss of quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Freemake?

The Best one of the lot. Simple & very easy to use, all the options are very clearly mentioned and easily accessible. Can convert to most of the formats. Very easy and intuitive program that lets you convert between all sorts of video formats as well as output a video to audio. The free version of the software and this fulfils my needs. Can convert .avi, .mkv, .3gp, .mp4, .mp3 and many more. One more important thing is there is an option for platform specific conversion, so you can convert to xbox, PS, windows, apple, andorid, oh even Nokia and Blackberry. There is an option for joining two different files while conversion so they linearly play as one, t The conversion also happens very smooth and happens fast, the directX acceleration feature is used for this. The downloader app is combined with this and makes a great package. It even has an ability to join audio/video files together easily, which is a great feature! And also, it's free!a simple approach to converting existing video files into alternate formats to be played on different devices. Download files from youtube, facebook and vimeo is also available. Freeware solution. Freemake imports most video, audio, image formats and outputs to all the key ones as well -- it's great to be able to convert videos so that they're watchable on your smartphone or kid's tablet (Vtech). Notably, it can also 'save' from online video portals such as youtube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freemake?

There is nothing much to dislike in this. The downloader although doesn't support all the website. but works great with youtube, facebook and vimeo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
