## Freelancer.com Reviews
  ### 1. Inconsistent Withdrawal Process, But Great Support

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** muhannad b.

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Freelancer.com?**

I think Freelancer.com is the best portal to get projects. I appreciate the kindness of their support services, especially Keillie, who provided excellent service and helped me with ID restrictions. Another great aspect is the video verification, which I found to be a better service. The initial setup was also the best processing I've experienced.

**What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?**

Sometimes, withdrawals will be delayed beyond the mentioned timeline, especially during weekends. It's pending while other platforms, like Upwork, manage withdrawals on weekends too.

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelancer.com allows me to find part-time projects easily. ID restrictions were resolved quickly, and video verification is a smooth process.

  ### 2. Valuable Clients & Projects, Convenient Platform

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Freelancer.com to access valuable clients and projects, and I appreciate the platform's convenient setup.

  ### 3. Terrible app but decent work offers

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Freelancer.com?**

There's a good number of jobs and single tasks to apply for.

**What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?**

There's nothing special compared to other platforms and the app works terribly

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Availability of freelance paid jobs

  ### 4. A Decent Freelancing Platform but Chaotic

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrienne H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Freelancer.com?**

I enjoy the way the application process for freelancing tasks works. It is fairly simple and has been laid out well. I think the way in which you advertise your services is also well-done.

**What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?**

I find the search function for freelancing tasks to be chaotic and unorganised. The entire UI lacks a sense of flow and clarity that can leave it feeling chaotic and jumbled.

**Recommendations to others considering Freelancer.com:**

I would say that it is important to remember that freelancing platforms can be both a blessing and a curse. They take a good chunk of your money once you have completed jobs, but they can be useful when you are building a portfolio or seeking to expand your client base.

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has proven itself fairly useful when procuring new clients and building up a stronger client base. I have recently started to focus on Freelancer more having abandoned platforms like People Per Hour.

  ### 5. Amazing portal for freelancer but less trust

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** prateek b. | Full Stack Developer @ Capgemini, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Freelancer.com?**

Amazing user interface. It is a very old freelancing platform, very popular. The user interface is very friendly for beginners. Lots of freelancers and jobs are available.

**What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?**

- It is very hard to find the first job for a beginner.
- Sometimes there are fake job offers.
- It is time-consuming to find a project if you are not paying extra for the service.
- Many people are ready to do work in a few bucks, so it became very challenging and competitive.
- Very restricted policies, I heard from my friends that their profile was deleted just for a small suspicion and they did not do any wrong.

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding technical work online, coding and web development, developing apps and eCommerce solutions.

  ### 6. Honest Review of a Freelance Platform

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Utkarsh s. | Freelance Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Freelancer.com?**

I like its overall user interface and experience. It has also many features that I liked about this software.
It has:-
-> Secure payments
-> Free of cost chat
-> Job sample viewing

**What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?**

I am a Freelance Graphic designer. I have worked on freelancer.com and Upwork both and to be honest, I found Upwork to be a better one for me due to many reasons. Upwork's Interface is better than freelancer.com's interface. Paying fees on Upwork is lower than in freelancer.com

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use freelancer.com not often as other freelance websites offer me better things than those of freelancer.com's. Well, Freelancer.com helped me very much in starting of my career in getting honest clients.

  ### 7. Best of All But Not for Newbies.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Hassan H. | Professional Freelancer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Freelancer.com?**

The UI and Payment options are best of any platforms and offers very professional support and certificates.

**What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?**

You should be popular to get projects. In Freelancer.com you may not be able to find work for years if you don't have a very high profile portfolio and you must spend money to feature your profile, get certificates. Without these you just waste time sending bids.

**Recommendations to others considering Freelancer.com:**

If you are a new freelancer then start from small website otherwise you'll end up broke and disappointed.

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not any. Because I don't use it anymore.

  ### 8. Good for smaller projects - not hourly based

**What do you like best about Freelancer.com?**

When you find good freelancer it’s perfect, but sifting through the large percentage of mediocre ones is a bit difficult

**What do you dislike about Freelancer.com?**

No protection for hourly projects. When a freelancer claims they did you project you’re automatically charged regardless of the quality of their work. Stick to flat rate projects

**What problems is Freelancer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

additional help for minor projects
