## Freed Reviews
  ### 1. Freed Cuts Note-Taking Time with Custom Templates and AI Chat, Multilingual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Freed?**

Freed has really helped decrease the burden of typing during patient encounters so that I can focus more on patient needs and having the mental bandwidth to think about their issues. Also obviously helps me write notes without having to remember all the details. I also love the the customizability of the templates, and the new AI chat where I can give instructions to refine notes. I LOVE that it works with my Spanish conversations since that is the majority of my patients.

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

There is a little bit of a learning curve to figuring out how to customize the app; specifically for me it took me some time to figure out how to get my notes in a more concise, bullet point format. But the website has note templates that allow you to customize the way you want your notes written which is helpful. I don't think my organization has EHR integration with EPIC for the software which would be convenient, but I know I can use chrome in the room to make it easier to copy stuff over which is helpful. Somehow it is still taking me just as long to finish notes which I am working on, but it does free my mental bandwidth to focus on other things, and perhaps there is an element of me using the extra time to address more patient issues but that is perhaps a me problem with setting boundaries. At times the Spanish to English translation, or the concise bullet point summaries have some errors in accuracy but they are minimal which makes them easy to fix.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me write my notes, have more mental bandwidth to think about patient issues, and makes it easier to not have to write down and recall so many details

  ### 2. Efficient Charting, Boosts Patient Interaction

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** alex O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Freed?**

I use Freed to help with my daily charting, mainly for HPI and my plans. Freed lets me spend more time with my patients without worrying about documentation and lets me get home faster while still being as accurate and often more detailed. I like the simplicity and how easy it is to just start the recording and how it works between my devices. I record on my phone but use the desktop version for the actual charting. The initial setup was very easy; I did the 10 patient trial and then signed up for the paid version by the end of the day!

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

There is an option for 'less verbose,' but the notes are still very long. I think there could be a tighter option with fewer words. I often cut parts out. I also really liked the review of systems part that they had, but it has been removed on the latest update. I was able to train mine to add that on most notes.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freed lets me spend more time with patients without worrying about documentation and helps me get home faster while maintaining accurate and detailed notes. It's easy to set up, and I can seamlessly record on my phone and chart on my desktop.

  ### 3. Easy to Navigate and Fits Seamlessly Into a HCP’s Daily Routine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren B. | Nurse practitioner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Freed?**

It’s very easy to navigate and incorporate into your daily routine as a HCP

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

I don’t have any complaints about it, other than having my office manager pay for it.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to have real engagement with patients and not have to sit and stare at a computer screen. It has cut my charting time down by a lot!

  ### 4. Enhances Patient Interaction, Streamlines Charting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roxanne P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Freed?**

I really like how Freed lets me pull from prior visits of the same patient and incorporates that into the patient summary section and current notes. The push EHR feature is another favorite; it allows me to automatically move my note into the patient chart. I absolutely love the clinician assistant that lets me ask clinical-based questions to help inform my patients. These features make my job a lot easier, allowing me to focus on being present with my patients and help with my work-life balance.

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

I think continued integrations with my EHR would be helpful, such as telehealth/virtual visit links directly in Freed, the ability to capture demographics, and the ability for Freed to send wellness summaries directly to the patients.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freed allows me to be hands-free during patient visits, enhancing my connection with them and eliminating the need to take charting home. It provides comprehensive summaries and integrates prior visit info, easing my workflow and improving work-life balance.

  ### 5. Freed AI Gives Me More Time With Patients

Freed AI minimizes time spent in front of the computer and maximizes time spent with the patient

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

Very rarely, but unfortunately, the system is down

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freed is improving my documentation, particularly of history of present illness

  ### 6. Enormous Time Saver with High-Quality Notes and Seamless athenahealth Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chip F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Freed?**

Has been an enormous time saver in my practice. Generate really high quality notes. Its previsit summaries improve quality of care. Excellent interface with athenahealth. This has been the best AI scribe service I have used.

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

I don't have any specific complaint; really any particular thing I didn't like was fixed in an update. The service just keeps improving.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generating quality clinical notes from ambient audio of primary care office visits.

  ### 7. Intuitive, Reliable, and Fast-Improving—with Excellent Support and EHR Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Freed?**

Excellent customer support, rapid improvements in the product, excellent performance and reliability, integrates with a lot of EHRs. Very easy and intuitive to use, does not require any training to set up. Fair/good pricing.

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

Some patients don't want AI software to be used.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clinicians spend way too much time on administrative tasks, it leads to significant burn out. Freed is helping with that.

  ### 8. Streamlined Medical Practice with Exceptional Note Accuracy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Freed?**

I really like Freed's multilingual functionality, which is super helpful since I have many Spanish-speaking patients. It does a great job capturing what they say, catching small details that sometimes get lost in translation or that a translator can't hear. This acts as a bonus because it helps me clarify things when reviewing notes later. I also appreciate how easy it is to use Freed, with built-in templates that are customizable, making setup a breeze. The ability to personalize my notes is fantastic, and I can even add vitals just by saying them out loud. Freed creates concise notes and comprehensive after-visit summaries, which makes my job easier. Plus, I find the notes to be more accurate than the built-in AI of other systems.

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

There is a one-click EHR integration for browser-based EHRs through a Chrome extension, but it doesn't work on all systems. Some require you to copy and paste into your EHR.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freed prevents me from taking work home, catches what patients say even if I miss it, and allows me to focus on them without being stuck on my computer. Its multilingual functionality helps with Spanish-speaking patients (and other languages, though I haven't gotten to use the other ones yet), catching details translators might miss.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clinical documentation support and clinical thinking through AI chat feature.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Freed?**

What is most helpful about Freed is their team! Freed's team is not just responsive. They genuinely listen to feedback and implement recommendations rapidly.

**What do you dislike about Freed?**

The only thing I would change would be the pricing model for the Front Desk.

**What problems is Freed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We spend significantly less time writing SOAP notes. We also streamlined our front desk workflows as well.

  ### 11. Freed Gets Me
