Fraction is an AI-automated portal designed to help growing companies search for 100% US-based senior developers and streamline developer onboarding. Our portal provides access to US-based developers who are available for long-term, part-time ("fractional") positions. As a GM, I don't have the experience of a developer, but I need to make decisions for our company based on development plans. Fraction provides not only experts who do quality work, in a timely manner, at rates we can handle, but they are also so great at working with non-technical staff, like me! Their insight, guidance, and patience have been invaluable. It has also been so wonderful to have US-based developers once again. They are easy to communicate with and feel like a part of our team. **What do you dislike about fraction?** So far, I don't have anything to share in this regard. **Recommendations to others considering fraction:** Just meet with them. Share your goals and hear how they can come alongside you. It's worth it! **What problems is fraction solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently working with them to rebuild our app and are all excited to see the finished product and how we can grow from there. We hadn't been able to rebuild the app until Fraction came along. This will allow us to make improvements and iterations much faster moving forward. ### 2. The developers we have are knowledgeable, plus we have weekly sync meetings with a project manager (currently the head of operations) to ensure everything is going smoothly. The CEO also joins calls when needed to make sure all questions are answered. **What do you dislike about fraction?** This statement isn't a complaint. It's more of a reality. We know we're using fractional workers, so we have to share them with other companies. Sometimes they are unavailable because we're getting them on their off hours from their jobs or their families. Scheduled meetings might be interrupted more than they would for a staff member. **Recommendations to others considering fraction:** Go in knowing you're hiring people not on your in-house team, so don't expect them to give you the same hours of the day everyone else does. Be upfront with your expectations and be open to suggestions. Have a sound communication system in place, and follow solid onboarding procedures. **What problems is fraction solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed developers for our team, but we couldn't bring on in-house US devs. Our CEO ran across Fraction.work in another setting and suggested we check them out. We started with 1 deveveloper and currently have 2 devs tackling a huge project we couldn't have done with out them. ### 3. The consultants were knowledgeable, and we will always consider renewing our agreement. **Recommendations to others considering fraction:** If you have complex tech stacks and need someone to seamlessly integrate into your system, Fraction.work is for you. **What problems is fraction solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently in the initial phases of a corporate acquisition.
