It’s available on mobile and desktop, can be installed on various operating systems (Microsoft, macOS, Linux), and supports multiple languages. The feature set is extensive and well organized: the different tools are grouped into an easy-to-navigate, Office-style tabbed menu. Several plug-ins are also available and can be managed easily, so you can activate or deactivate them as needed. The commenting tools are particularly rich. They let you add notes and callouts, insert text boxes, highlight text or entire areas, and draw different shapes and lines while adjusting formatting, arrangement, and alignment. It also includes many unusual and interesting features for free, such as auto-scrolling (the document scrolls slowly on its own, without needing to move the page with the mouse or arrow keys), reading (the document is read aloud), a text viewer (only the text remains visible, while graphics and images are hidden), and a measuring tool. Files can be shared using various options, including email, Evernote, OneNote, and—via the relevant plug-in—Google Drive and Dropbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Reader? More advanced PDF editing tools—such as adding, deleting, or extracting pages; adding or modifying text; OCR recognition; and exporting to Office formats—are only available in the paid version. It’s still a fairly lightweight PDF reader compared to other software, even though the latest versions have become a bit heavier and I often notice longer startup times. It’s useful for me to complete documents and add my signature without having to print them first and then write or sign by hand, which saves me time and resources. It’s also very versatile for annotating documents: there’s a wide range of free, customizable tools available, so I can choose the ones that best fit my needs. I especially appreciate the side rulers in the display, the option to pull out guides, and the measuring tool, since I can check dimensions or take measurements directly without switching to other software. I downloaded Foxit because Adobe Reader felt really slow on my old laptop. Honestly, I expected another PDF reader that would look exactly the same, but it was actually much faster. I understand companies need to sell products, but sometimes it felt like I was being reminded about it every time I opened a document. Mostly just opening PDFs without waiting forever. I also used it for forms and documents that needed small edits or comments. That lately archives can't be saved, in regards of the higtlights and notes you do unless you pay for the service, foxit was a great tool and many students use that, but by making basic features under payment, for sure that will decrease its usage. The best part about Foxit PDF reader is that most of its features are free, which comes paid in almost every other PDF reader. It has a easy-to-use and clean UI which enables smooth navigation. Also, the most commonly used tools like select, highlight etc. are available right on the top so that I need not to struggle to find them. The app is updated regularly, which makes it even better everytime. I like that I can add a digital signature to multiple files on Foxit pdf reader. It is easy to convert different file types to pdf and share them with colleagues and clients. It can be integrated with other software for quick upload and download. The interface, design, and toolbars is built to maximize the screen at every time. It is secure and helps protect files from unauthorised access. Read aloud option allows me to listen to pdf files while working, and it is clear and audible with differe=nt voice options to select.
