It how I can insert pages, edit documents without any prior professional knowledge or experience. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** It is expensive I would have been happy if foxit makes one time buy little cheap to cut on competitors. **Recommendations to others considering Foxit PDF Editor:** I would certainly recommend to buy if it was few bucks cheaper. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Adding pages in documents, correcting text in brochures. ### 2. It's a lightweight program so it comes up pretty quickly to open a file. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** I am more used to using a tool that does much more as a pdf editor. I'd love to be able to open CAD files as a pdf for instance. **Recommendations to others considering Foxit PDF Editor:** Make sure it has every function you need from a pdf editor. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I got Bluebeam because FoxIt wasn't heavy duty enough for my needs. ### 4. I like the "bookmarking" option, which allows for you to set aside important documents in larger ones and it always makes an index of your bookmarks, allowing easier access to the bookmarked pages. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** My limitations with this product are that I never really became familiarized with it and was not given any formal training to teach me how to effectively use it. There are many functions (redactions, OCRing, etc) that I do not know how to do due to not being trained in this product. **Recommendations to others considering Foxit PDF Editor:** I would recommend trying to locate and utilize a help desk to assist you in navigating the application, particularly if you are used to navigating Adobe or another similar product, as they are very different in format from one another. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving the problem of spending hours to try to find certain pieces on information in larger documents via the bookmarking function of this application. It is extremely helpful and I would recommend it for others to use in the same way. ### 6. Would be great to have internal help allowing to ask plain English questions and quickly get suggestions on where to find related functionality. There are a lot of features which is nice and it's relatively an inexpensive piece of software. It also does a decent job of integrating with Microsoft Outlook. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** Besides the OCR tool, it's not the most user friendly PDF software. **Recommendations to others considering Foxit PDF Editor:** Adobe is more user friendly but Foxit packs in a lot of features. I prefer using Adobe. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm able to take documents that and search for words using the OCR tool that FoxIt provides. It also helps to convert documents from word to pdf and other formats such as PNG and JPG. ### 9. Now that acrobat is now DC it is harder to buy it standalone. At the time of this writing Foxit standard is $109 and Adobe DC standard standalone is $290. The tabs used to be a good comparison, now Adobe has added PDF tabs to their newest program. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** We had many users complain that documents would not open or they wouldn't convert. The conversion would have funny symbols or it would lock up their computer.
