I know that not every company can do it, but we replaced Adobe Pro with Browser PDF Reader, Stirling-PDF for document manipulation, merges, splits, conversions, etc. and finally we already had DocuSign for forms/signing needs. In the end we dropped all the Pro licensing (saving money already), and we were able to roll out PDF manipulation to all the employees entirely free (a win in my book). And the employees that needed forms/signing already had DocuSign so no added costs there. So far, no complaints from anyone, and in fact some have actually expressed how much more they prefer it. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** Updates without admin is not a thing, so wake up about automated patching. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a significant number of drafters and designers, and Foxit was a no-go for their compatibility challenges. We dumped 80+ Acrobat 10-15 and 100 Foxit licenses to go to PDF Xchange Pro, the top of the line license, for 250 seats. Being completely offline is also a huge plus. Over multiple years there are huge cost savings over creative cloud. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** Licensing through out our organization has has been a chalenge. Recent changes have corrected this issue with a centralized licensing portal. For the software its self, we have had issues in viewing filled out PDFs Documents as common as W-9s from the IRS website do not show up as being filled in Foxit, but do in all major web browsers, as well as in Adobe Reader. In working with support, they have determined that this is a feature not a bug, and that only documents filled out in "Professional" PDF applications should show up as filled.Also some menus and side bars are colapsed by default and the icon is very small next to the scroll bar making it hard to see on some devices. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Foxit solves our needs for generation, conversion, editing, and publishing PDF documents. With out this software we likely would be forced to deploy Acrobat at a significant premium. ### 35. My office switched because Foxit is significantly cheaper than Adobe Acrobat, which we previously used. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** I dislike Foxit because there is a glitch in which keyboard commands do not work in Foxit, which slows my work pace. I use Foxit constantly in the legal field. There is a further glitch where I am unable to request e-signatures through the app, so Foxit forces me to sign online and upload my document for e-signature, adding an extra couple steps. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is much cheaper for my firm that previously purchased programs.
