As a tool, Foxit remains one of the best comprehensive tools for PDF. However, now you cannot access the eSign function without paying about 100 USD, plus paying for any other feature you require. While I understand someone who uses it regularly may not hesitate to purchase the eSign feature, casual users cannot get to see how amazing it is without getting a subscription. Not much, it doesn't take much to be able to fill and sign PDFs. You can integrate it with high performance tools for a good price. Support was easy to access. I like that the e-sign is secure/compliant, allows for unlimited envelopes, and has a portal where you can log-in and view all documents that are awaiting your signature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Foxit eSign? The name is a bit silly and doesn't have the same recognition as Adobe unfortunately. The biggest problem my organization had was that Adobe e-sign would only send an email to the signatory requesting signature, but there was no portal where they can log in and view all 50 documents that they needed to sign. They needed to find each individual email to find the document to sign. This required a lot of the team to chase signatures and follow-up, resend documents, etc. We have a large research department, so the other issue we found were that similar programs (Docusign) that do allow for a user to log into a portal to see all the documents they need to sign was very expensive, since they only allow for like 100 envelopes at $300 (starting cost). Some of our signatories signed 50 documents a month, so that would have not been as cost efficient as Fox-It. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. It takes some time to get the hang of it, but once you do, it works very well. I appreciate how it is organized and the logical sequence of options that help tie everything together. I've also encountered problems where the text unexpectedly switches between horizontal and vertical orientation while typing. The best part of e-sign is how easy it intergrates with Foxit pdf editor. Being able to view a PDF saved to your desktop and request signatures direct is a great feature. What do you dislike about Foxit eSign? Foxit e-sign does a pretty good job at what it is designed for. There isn't much I would change on this program. Maybe the worst thing is that PDF Editor won't show the status of multiple envelopes and requires you to login online but that is the only complaint. I would 1000% argue that completed documents need to have their file name changed to include "SIGNED" that way i can drop them into the same folder as the unsigned versions. I like that it provides an easy way to send documents, making it convenient for people to e-sign instead of having to physically go to a location. What do you dislike about Foxit eSign? I wish Foxit eSign was a little more affordable with multiple users at the same time. It takes a little time to get used to it. I would like the very form or any item sent over to be automatically resent the very next day if someone does not sign, irrelevant whether it's a business day or not. Once I send a document, I want to be able to go back into the document and make changes and resend the document like DocuSign. Foxit is not as user friendly in this area, unless this feature is available and I just need training. Also, some features are difficult to figure out how they work, such as the radio buttons. In Docusign you add a radio button, and it gives you a group of them, so you don't have to manually group them. Also, I noticed that once I put a physician in the system as a signer, they disappear after a while. I can edit a PDF on my computer and from there request others to sign it, meaning that from the same document editing I can initiate the signing process. The dimension of the 'envelopes' is strange, at least I didn't understand it very well. The 'Envelopes', or envelopes, are supposed to be the complete flow of the signature, but I didn't understand how I could eventually buy more, maybe it was just me, but what I read wasn't very clear to me.
