This tool has helped us create our delivery service and take complete control of the logistics processes from our headquarters. Its interface is quite intuitive for pleasant navigation; everything is very well organized within FourKites. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** It has a somewhat steep learning cave, but at the same time, it has an excellent knowledge base and an excellent support team; it takes little time to overcome such a learning cave. **Recommendations to others considering FourKites:** It is a service that I would not hesitate to recommend; it combines security and efficiency in terms of control of shipments from when they leave the organization until they reach their destination. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** FourKites represents security and efficiency in performing shipment logistics, obtain all shipment data (from the person in charge and contact information to the route to travel) and track its status in detail until it reaches its destination and respective delivery. Fourkites presents information in preset graphs and charts that show the most used statistics while also allowing the user to export their data in multiple file types to get any other information that they would like to see. This can also be setup as reports that the site will automatically email you at regular intervals. Having this information and the user friendly format allows me to present the information clearly and accurately to people within our organization who make decisions. Fourkites integrates well with SAP, reducing the amount of manual work for both our employees and our carriers. Last, but not least, the Fourkites company is super helpful anytime I need help with errors or just asking how to do something new. They also have a very nice Knowledge Base where I can often find the answers (and other options) for myself. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** Fourkites data is only as good as the data that they receive from the carrier. This means that if the carrier isn't giving good information (or isn't giving information) then we aren't able to make the best decision. Fourkites helps with this by contacting the carriers for us and helping them work through the technical difficulties and learning curves. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have used Fourkites to help with several different situations. Primarily, they are helping our load trackers to be more efficient, however, the data information that we receive helps with decisions in other areas of our transportation department. ### 32. Sometimes the email with the schedule is requested and that automatic email from FourKites does not arrive, and when requested again, it says that the email has already been sent and the information cannot be resent. Having live visibility on a truck can be very helpful in up to the minute updates without having to disturb drivers. Setting carrier up on the PartnerHub platform has also helped in this process by not needing to contact drivers. Allows for a seamless integration with their Tracking service or ELDs. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** How easily it is for driver's to make changes in the app, like marking loads delivered on accident and other things that cause the tracking to stop or be inconsistent. **Recommendations to others considering FourKites:** Focus on the PartnerHub integration. It is the easiest way to track shipments without having to coach drivers through using an app that does experience problems from time to time. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing visibility for customers while reducing time spent making check calls. By using this platform, the company knows when to expect everything without having to waste time calling others to know the ETA. It also helps with KPIs and to keep a more organized view of the monthly movement of materials. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** I didn't find anything I disliked about FourKites. The platform has rules about shipment delivery that kind of limits the flexibility of when to deliver depending on office hours if you want your shipment to be tracked succesfully but I think those rules are for the best interest of everyone. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** The visibility of shipments. Being able to see where all trucks are and every other information by just entering the platform is very useful. ### 40. This tool has reduced the excessive manual work and manual tracking via phone calls but now Fourkites provides me clear information about the freight status with constant communication and updates. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** It is very difficult to get started, I must say that it is not so user friendly only professionals can handle this tool to their best also its configuration is not easy. Further while managing the routes this software usually gets slow which is very irritating and usually we have to repeat the process again from the beginning. **Recommendations to others considering FourKites:** I will like to recommend this tool to the large business set ups and those who do the shipment in bulk. Once this is solved and tracking consistency is good, FourKites will be exponentially more beneficial. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some tracking inconsistency and infrequent pings, leading to incorrect ETA's. This is generally the carrier's fault, but it would be helpful if FourKites was able to ensure compliance. Being able to check load locations and ETA's in real-time is invaluable. ### 42. I also like seeing the FourKites estimated ETA. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** Some of the export functions aren't user friendly. The information is great, but the way it's formatted in excel isn't fantastic. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're finding that the dates, and transit times, on our loads are not accurate. We're also finding locations that are cutting stops in our TMS, but not actually removing them from the loads. This causes us to provide inaccurate information to the customers. We're telling them that we have product to deliver to them, but then it's never delivered because the stop was cut, but not removed from the load. ### 43. The implementation team and now the customer success teams are incredible valuable and supportive, we feel always accompanied while progressing in our journey. Platform is so friendly and easy of use, despite training is always recommended, with simple surfing in the software you can use it. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** Sometimes the time to integrate a new carrier could take more time than expected. The support for Mexico / LATAM could improve by using native language staff to eliminate communication gaps. **Recommendations to others considering FourKites:** The support pre, during and after implementation is simply great! The internal structure, processes and current know-how is admirable. Consider this when selecting the solution, not only pricing. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** We don´t have or own fleet to move our products to customers, instead we use +100 carriers, some of them dedicated. When we needed to check the status of a single delivery, we had to go first to find the carrier who is moving the load, then communicate with carrier and sometimes carrier called driver before we get the real status of the load (even then, we could be told something innacurate). Through fourkites, we have been able to track, visualize and follow-up deliveries in no time, zero effort and accurate. Our response time for internal and external customers has incredible improved. Now we are exploring the opttion to share the access to our customers to give them the Amazon kind information directly. ### 44. Fourkites is the best in my opinion . It worked like a charm for our requirement at a significantly small capex. As a tracker working overnight, it was not always possible to get updates as my position required me to do so for our client. With Fourkites, I'm able to track loads in next to real time, any time! **What do you dislike about FourKites?** There have been times that geofencing or other issues have happened where Fourkites provided arrival and departures for loads that did not deliver. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned above, the ability to track loads without communicating directly with a person with the carrier is extremely helpful through conflicts in time differences or overnight. The ability to easily view loads that may be at risk more proactively is helpful as well. There have been times that carriers have provided an unrealistic update over the phone however with Fourkites I'm able to see where the load actually is and reschedule appointments as needed rather than after the carrier misses a delivery appointment at our customer. Four kites is helpful with the filters and search options that allow you to filter by carrier and a wide variety of other filters to narrow down loads to view exactly what you're seeking. ### 46. There's a lot of information thrown at the user right off the bat and learning to sift through it to find what you're looking for can take some time. **What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you?** The first major benefit is allowing us to provide better, faster, and more accurate tracking data to our customers. Secondly we are beginning a large-scale detention project utilizing the detention dashboard that will allow us to cut detention costs down. New carriers are being integrated with minimal effort and cero cost to them. There are other regions and areas in our company that are evaluating the implementation of this tool to their processes. the communication and interactions with our Customer Success Manager is great and she is allways available to help us in any way. Ana has made our implementation very smooth and she can speak multiple languages which makes the communitacion great and easy with our Global team, our local team, Carriers and training with employees. She also knows pretty much everything on the tool, but knows well when and who to ask looking at the issue in a more holistical way During this pandemic (COVID-19) we continued with the communication as usual and showed flexible on the times, since the operation never stop. **What do you dislike about FourKites?** some functionalities are being deployed in other countries before us, but I know we will eventually get them. Even when having a good tracking, there are some oportunities when it comes to have a good guide on how to troubleshoot from the carrier perspective. Not all carriers are used to have this tools and sometimes they require a more personal call. **Recommendations to others considering FourKites:** have a clean master data and make your carriers and team o be commited to the project. Fourkites made it very easy deffining a specific team to different aspects of implementation, and with a weekly meeting we had the chance to tackle the issues promplty. The tool is awesome, but you really need to be behind the carriers and the team to make the project work Fourkites provides enough information to show you what can be improved and also suggest the best way to fix it have crazy ideas and share them with your Customer success manager.
