The satisfaction of knowing that my goods are being transported safely, as I can track their whereabouts using FourKites. In addition, the software license is free and the customer can track the movements of the goods. It gives us all the information we need to track the logistics of goods and supplies to their final destination. We have been able to use its tools to represent and read the data understandably and accurately once we have customized the system to fit our needs. The fact that the system has crashed twice already is something I don't like, but on the plus side, I called tech support and they reacted right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you? FourKites has been very useful to me because, in the past, sometimes the goods I ordered did not arrive or arrived late. Now, I can track where the goods are coming from. It has made it easier for us to maintain effective control over the logistics of the goods and materials we use, whether they are destined for customers or our users. Decision-making, control of items leaving our facilities, and effective tracking of shipments have required access to the data and analysis that FourKites has provided. FourKites can sound like a lot of work for carriers who are unfamiliar with it, so it can take some convincing to get carriers "on board" with connecting via FourKites. FourKites has been instrumental in our tracking process since implementation. It has allowed our dispatch team to get live updates on their loads, especially for high-visibility customers. Having them log in and search for a load has drastically cut down on wait time from carrier responses and has allowed them to be self sufficient regarding their load updates. Fourkites is one of the best real-time visibility platforms out there. It's easy to use and you can access the knowledge base and learning modules where you can expand your knowledge on how the platform works in detail. I don't think there are any downsides to using this platform. Maybe the knowledge base should be advertised more so that everyone using the platform is aware of its existence since it can be a very helpful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is FourKites solving and how is that benefiting you? Fourkites allows me to check the shipments that are late or very late and understand what may cause the delay. It also allows me to monitor the performance of different carriers within our network, this way we can send them a report of their performance montlhy. I think Notification abilities with the data could become more dynamic in order to impact a more diverse set of issues that Shippers and Receivers experience on a day to day basis.
