I have the utmost confidence in our team and their concern for our Foundation. I regularly connect with our team to bounce ideas off of them as well as seek their guidence on projects we are considering funding. The level of customer support provided to us from Foundation Source is unmatched. **What do you dislike about Foundation Source?** I truly cannot think of something about our relationship with Foundation Source that could use improvement. A service that is not provided but could be added would be a financial interface to produce profit/loss statement and a balance sheet. **What problems is Foundation Source solving and how is that benefiting you?** Foundation Source is our back office support, paying our invoices, issues our checks for grants, processing staff credit card statements, tax compliance and legal support. ### 2. In general, foundations have a multitude of ways that they can use their resources to execute their missions from writing grants to nonprofit organizations to providing scholarship funds as well as donations to individuals in emergency situations. Foundation Source's advice has been key to being able to leverage these different tools while also staying compliant with the different state and federal guidelines. Our client advisor has consistently provided sound guidance and feedback, responding promptly and thoughtfully to any questions we may have. Additionally, Foundation Source's comprehensive suite of services serves both as a resource of best practices and as a framework for us, providing a wide range of services from researching charities to disbursing grant funds and tracking expenses as well as managing documentation and reports. Our personalized Dashboard is user-friendly putting all of our pertinent information at our fingertips. They've provided research assistance and confirmation of tax compliance to protect against any unwanted penalties, and they have done a superb job with our annual tax filings. I couldn't be happier with the level of customer service our account representative has provided. She makes it feel like she works solely for our family because she's not only available when we need her, but she has an understanding of our priority causes and inner-working. I highly recommend Foundation Source to others hoping to move from decades-old spreadsheets and checkbooks to a more sophisticated, yet still very user-friendly, digital platform with a knowledgeable team available to assist on a daily basis. **What do you dislike about Foundation Source?** I can't think of any downsides to using Foundation Source. Our family foundation has only benefitted from our engagement. **What problems is Foundation Source solving and how is that benefiting you?** Foundation Source is doing a wonderful job for our family foundation when it comes to both compliance and reporting. Prior to working with them, our CPA would be weighed down with folders and spreadsheets of gifts and receipts from the entire year. We had a very reactionary approach. Now, we are proactive and much more efficient. We have a team to help us diligence grantees and ensure our grants are in compliance with all applicable tax regulations long before year-end. As well, Foundation Source has helped us to improve reporting efficiency. Rather than manually create charts and reports for trustee meetings, we are now able to rely on quality and accurate reports available at the click of a button on the FSOL portal. We've been able to dig into our data and streamline a lot of our discussions thanks to improved processed and reporting. ### 6. They have made owning a private foundation a smooth process and I do not know what I would do without them. They handle all of my needs and then some so that I can focus on our mission with our private foundation. Everytime I have a question my representive is always there to help me. Having all my reports, expenses and needs in one place simplifies everything. **What do you dislike about Foundation Source?** I do not have one compliant with Foundation Source. **What problems is Foundation Source solving and how is that benefiting you?** They help me with all our expenses, taxes and grants being issued and I do not know if I would be able to do it without them. ### 7.
