Metadata: FotoWare allows for granular control over metadata fields, taxonomies, and rights information. This makes it possible to align our collections with GLAM best practice while keeping internal workflows clear and consistent. Workflow automation: The ability to create actions, macros, and QA processes saves time and reduces errors. Tasks like renaming, rights tagging, and metadata checks become repeatable, reliable, and less dependent on individual memory. **What do you dislike about Fotoware?** Steep learning curve: FotoWare’s flexibility is a strength, but it also means there’s a lot to learn before you can take full advantage of its capabilities. Lack of a community forum: There’s no central place where users can easily exchange ideas, troubleshoot, and share best practice.
