Even though it has real time management tools that are very handy it does not have an advanced analysis and monitoring service which does not give you an in-depth insight of the operation handling on the website. The best thing about this tool is that you can combine a wide variety of features for your solution. Since working from home has become a trend, NAC tools have gained good demand in the market. Easy to use and navigate solution for utmost security even for re-routing the traffic. Joining the network in the same domain becomes very important for the safety of all levels of organisations. FortiNAC is a great tool to implement Network Access Control in your organization, whether using a wired or wireless network. It's smooth to implement and very easy to manage. I loved this tool during the period I was using it. But, there is little room for improving the interface. The best thing about fortinac is user accessibility and customisations of user roles based on their requirements and needs.you can manage multiple devices and there response based on your requirements.It has multiple languages suppport. Installation is not easy ,takes lot of time to go setup and configure.Configuration with windows doesn’t work properly.Licensing is bit costly compared to its competitors. We basically used this to implement security features to our database and Datacentres which were connected with multiple devices for data collection.User account customisations were very easy .User were given and revoked access based on requirements being met and devices not meeting the requisite were disconnected for security issues.This helped in Data protection at various layers and limits the access of data to specified users. The best option is to have that isolated VLAN so no rogue hosts can enter the internal network. I am giving eight instead of 10 for the product is the complexity of the GUI, which makes the device not that familiar compared to all other Fortinet products like the Analyzer or Sandbox.
