It turns the schedule your team already maintains into a time-phased budget, earned value and forecasts, so project managers can see where a project really stands, forecast its final cost and act early to protect margins. Most project teams already know when work is planned and what it should cost. EVM connects the two and answers the questions that matter: Are we on schedule? Are we on budget? What will it cost at completion? EVMS forProject makes that practical without a large implementation. The interface will feel familiar to anyone who uses Microsoft Office, and you keep planning in the scheduling tool you already know. Key capabilities: - Schedule integration: works directly with Microsoft Project (including Project Server) and Oracle Primavera P6, so cost and schedule stay in step with less manual effort. - Earned value measurement: standard EVM metrics, including cost and schedule variances, performance indices and estimates at completion, following the EIA-748 guidelines and accepted best practices. - Financial integration: brings in actual costs from accounting and ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, SAP and Oracle, through configurable Excel import and export or automated integration with Integrator forProject. Also integrates with Empower. - Reporting: from simple performance reporting on a single project up to full program reporting, including IPMDAR and IPMR data and DOE PARS CPP output. - Configurable: business rules, financial calendars, rates, resources and user roles can be set up to match how your organization works. EVMS forProject scales from basic earned value on a few projects to a full earned value management system across a portfolio.
