While we so appreciate the open ended-ness and advanced features, schools have limited staff, and especially limited skill sets, so having access to one on one customer support would be a game changer for us at schools. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying to push a school into 2023 in terms of digital maturity, we are about 5-10 years behind, but starting to make progress. Our consumer base (parents and students) has adapted to an ever changing digital society, and they expect the level of digitally maturity they experience in their daily lives to translate to us (a school). I even use Formstack as a teacher--I will create a form that requires students to submit a relevant reflection, link the formstack to a qr code that students can quickly use, and then display student responses for in-class discussion. Formstack is particularly helpful because it allows for file submission. I also like that I can easily share the live link, without worrying about complex distribution via email. Finally, I like that I can download all response data as a csv. I use formstack to gather some sort of data almost every week, and I like that I can keep track of my long list of ongoing forms! **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** I wish I could find a way to download submitted files in bulk--it seems I have to download them one-by-one, unless I'm missing something. It would also be nice to be able to apply custom themes to a form. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** I previously did not have a clear way to accept responses that included questionairres answers as well as file submission. People applying for programs I facilitate would have to submit a form, and then email separate documents. This led to the possibility that I wouldn't receive the email, or I might accidently lose the documents, or pair the wrong documents with the wrong forms. I also found other similar products were more complicated and required more time for me to create and distribute a form. With Formstack, I can create a form within minutes before a meeting, if necessary. ### 26. With formstack, there are multiple functions that can be utilized to customize the form based on data needed, whether or not there is a payment required, as well as custom rules for BOGO programs or "push/pull" campaigns with free tickets. The forms are also easily embedded in websites, allowing us to utilize formstack for our various seasonal programs , group ticket info requests and special events, such as our charity golf tournament. All-in, Formstack is a quick and easy way to collect data, sell tickets/products and create a user friendly environment for your clients. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** For some reason, there is no way to recover a forgotten/lost encryption password. I understand protecting user data, but some of these passwords were set by previous employees who no longer work for my company, and I am unable to access order forms that have been submitted without the password, and can't reset the password without it deleting every submission. You can't tell me there is no way to recover a password. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Right now, Formstack is creating more problems than it is solving. What used to be a simple way to collect information and orders for event tickets and merchandise is now a headache of seeing dozens if not hundreds of orders coming in that are inaccessible due to an unrecoverable encryption password that was set by a previous employee. Formstack's online support gave me a "too bad, we can't do anything" response when I asked how to recover and/or reset the password, leaving literally tens of thousands of dollars in sales lost to the ether. What I expected is disable past dates so user can only choose the incoming dates, but what Formstack did is disable FUTURE dates. And why the hell that I need to select a specific date to disable past dates, but not do like other form builder allow us to do like inputing `Today` keyword in the field to disable the past dates including today? While the descriptions probably make perfect sense to the Formstack internal developers, the descriptions don't always translate to the user. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** A segment of the legal profession in the state where I work can now capture an almost infinite number of settlememt scenarios in a settlement agreement form that can accomodate all of those scenarios. ### 30. Forms are pretty much industry standard; there are a ton of competitors that do the same work. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** I didn't enjoy working with their support team after the fact. I Created an account and tried to a build with connections to Adobe Sign and FirstData payment process that should have been possible, but wasn't with upgrading and signing up for much more expensive tools. (4 - 5 times more per year). **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Formstack was supposed to enable me to build a form that dynamically generates a contract and processes a deposit by connecting Adobe Sign and FirstData. The complicated items are when creating workflows, document merging, routing, and then signing. Also careful with pricing and merges. They charge you for every merge and this can get pricey. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** Too many places where one item could be changed and then downstream changes. Wish they would be clear where a change needs to made. Formstack sign is NOT Part11 compliant we feel as it does not authenticate on signatures at the moment with a username/password. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We digitized forms to remove paper and to improve effeciency. It's also easy for non-devs to use, and easy to integrate into existing web-applications (such as our SPA app using Angular). The approval workflows also let us allow non-devs to approve or reject requests for common actions requested by customers. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** The end-user experience isn't so great (for users submitting the forms). Mobile support could be better, and the reporting system is quite lacking. Solutions such as TypeForm are far superior experience for the end users. Pricing is also a little high for the features it offers (which is essentially the same as just HTML forms support). It also doesn't allow having a pool of reviewers where ANYONE is allowed to review, nor does it have a convinient slack connection for approval workflows. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Formstack allows non-technical users to create and edit forms.
