There is a bit of a learning curve, which is understandable given the customizability of the software and its capabilities. Sometimes the help articles provide links to external resources which aren't the most useful and sometimes didn't work. Could be easier to modify, some formatting issues. These are only cons if you don't have a technical person to manage.

We had been using Formstack for a few years when I discovered WebMerge. As a nonprofit business, we create complimentary promotional marketing materials for our licensed accounts. In 2017, I received about 250 requests for these materials and I easily managed those requests. In 2018, I received over 1200 requests and found myself unable to complete other aspects of my job due to the time constraints of these requests. I initially implemented WebMerge so that these promotional materials could be automatically generated from the data entered on the Formstack form. I joked around that I was working myself out of a job (but I was really freeing myself up to dedicate time to other important projects).

We then started integrating WebMerge into other forms we use on Formstack to reduce the need for data-entry. And now, WebMerge is considered a part-time employee of our business because we have delegated so many time-consuming tasks to the software platform. I had a few frustrations learning the program and setting up the data routes which was simply due to unfamiliarity.
