It is great having all these options in the one spot. It is really user friendly and my course partcipants just rated it highly in a survey too, so thankyou. **What do you dislike about Forj?** Not being able to access the Files section from my mobile. I seem to only be able to access these from my laptop, so this means that I am restricted sometimes when commuting or travelling. Also I would really like an option to put video messages into the Feed and encourage others to do the same, as part of the Programme. **What problems is Forj solving and how is that benefiting you?** It keeps a global community connected all the way through a program and creates a safe container for this. The benefits are that people feel connected, safe and have access to the files and resources that they need as they navigate through the course. ### 2. Our members did not require much training at all to begin utilizing the tool's functionality. It's very intuitive to use and our members were quickly using it in ways that helped support their business. Importantly for us, they also used the tool in ways we hadn't foreseen, which added great value to our overall membership proposition. **What do you dislike about Forj?** Would like to see more data and analytics. The base package is more than adequate for engagement data, but for our organization, we need to measure more. This has more to do with our particular and rather unique line of business than the tool. **What problems is Forj solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allows our members to collaborate together. Our members collaborate to create prototypes for our government customers. Mobilize allows them to self-identify their interest areas/core competencies and connect. Having the ability to coordinate events among specific groups of members was useful, and extra tools such as the ability to export RSVP details, invite select or all members of a group, share event details (even virtual), and have follow-up discussions on the event page made the process seamless and intuitive. **What do you dislike about Forj?** The only feature I would like to see revisited is the Files portion of a group. It was difficult for my team to successfully utilize this feature, as we would like to provide access to certain files to certain groups of people at certain times, and the system seemed incomparable with this (to my knowledge). In the end, we had to end up compressing folders and adding them as attachments to certain posts rather than sharing them via the files tab within a certain group. **Recommendations to others considering Forj:** It's a great platform, and if you can get your members to use the mobile app, you've pretty much secured their engagement in the online community. **What problems is Forj solving and how is that benefiting you?** Through mobilize, we are able to actively engage members of our project in ongoing and authentic collaboration via discussions, polls, and coordinating events. We have realized that using a Mobilize page is far more effective at disseminating information that creating an email list (that often goes unseen) and offers more back-and-forth opportunities. We primarily work with K12 teachers and administrators, and Mobilize has been successful in keeping them engaged despite their pressing schedules. ### 4. It is really easy to set up a trial version and enjoy the functionality. At one point, a subgroup went on a trip, and Mobilize was an excellent way for everyone in that group to constantly communicate as trip departure came near without disturbing or distracting the main group. It is great to use on computer or smart phone. Overall it’s been a great choice for us in keeping up with our group members and for them to be able to find and contact each other. **What do you dislike about Forj?** One con for us is that administrators are not able to go in and add a photo for someone. We’ve also noticed sometimes it’s hard to follow a message thread or to make sure you are replying in the correct portion. Another con for our specific group is that people seem afraid to jump in and use it for announcements but want the leaders to still make announcements for them. **Recommendations to others considering Forj:** Overall it’s been a great choice for us in keeping up with our group members and for them to be able to find and contact each other within our closed group. **What problems is Forj solving and how is that benefiting you?** Group members are able to contact each other without going through an administrator. They are able to easily share files with each other and also find files in our main Mobilize account. ### 15. We love how accessible it is, that we can post private messages and allow people to organise themselves into networks, and self-manage their connections and activities. **What do you dislike about Forj?** Not having access to the sms feature without a higher subscription. The bushfires meant that internet access was interrupted so emergency sms feature would have been helpful. We had to use a different system for that . Limited to 5 groups under free plan. **Recommendations to others considering Forj:** Mobilize is great to get people engaged outside Facebook and is excellent for cause-based networking. Begin by creating a range of interesting posts, and conversations to inspire users. Try all the features including polls to engage users. Use all your social media skills - interesting headlines, graphics etc. modify your auto email templates to incentivise engagement. Remind members to save the email address to contacts. Encourage members to manage groups to widen engagement. Make it easy to join. **What problems is Forj solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mobilize keeps information and conversations in one place, instead of being lost in long email trails. We have used it much more during the Covid19 \lock down. We are finding a lot of private chats going on and connections being made between people who don’t know each other, but have made important connections through Mobilize. Events, polls, and similar tools have been helpful for our team as we communicate with our network in various ways and has been a great way for folks to easily participate in offering feedback and sharing with each other. **What do you dislike about Forj?** The only downside so far has been that emails often go to network members' junk or spam mailboxes, meaning that they miss messages. That is unfortunately somewhat out of our control as it requires users to make necessary changes/permissions on their end. **Recommendations to others considering Forj:** Thehealth of an online community is as much a factor of the team supporting it, so Mobilize is really just the tool that helps an already great community management approach stay connected online! **What problems is Forj solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem we're solving is to help network members stay connected to each other in between calls and meetings. It allows people to post progress, action items, and questions in real time and get input and collaboration much more quickly than if we didn't have this tool in place. ### 31.
