Forest is the operational infrastructure regulated companies grow on. It's where your team and your AI agents run compliance and business operations together, across any provider and any database, with your data staying in your systems. The problem we solve. Regulated ops teams run compliance and business ops across a widening stack: more provider portals, tighter regulation, and now AI agents plugging into workflows nobody scoped. The result: ops capacity goes to managing the system, not managing risk. What we bring. Four layers that make agentic ops safe in regulated environments. 1. Sovereign data backbone. Forest reads and writes directly to your databases and APIs through datasources. Providers and AI models plug in through MCP connectors. Client-hosted, your data never leaves your infrastructure. 2. Intelligent ops orchestration. Build workflows or code actions where your team and AI agents work the same cases: KYC/KYB, AML, fraud, payment ops, disputes, crypto compliance. AI handles the repetitive; humans make the calls that matter. 3. Compliance and AI governance. One permission model for humans and AI agents. Record-level audit log with reasoning traces for AI steps. SOC 2 certified, GDPR-aligned. The evidence layer your compliance team needs to demonstrate compliance. 4. Composable and headless. Bring your own AI agents, model, and vendors. Forest's MCP server exposes data, actions, and workflows under your audit model. Swap a KYC provider, PSP, or model without rewriting workflows. Trusted by ambitious fintechs. Forest is the back-office powering Ops at fast-growing fintechs across Europe, the Americas, and beyond. Teams at Belvo, Qonto, Raylo, Roundtable, Spendesk, Swan, and Modern Treasury rely on Forest to run secure, auditable, and scalable operations. Forest was previously known as Forest Admin. "Massive-scale back‑office built in minutes, backed by exceptional support"

5/5

What do you like best about Forest?

Forest Admin has been a game changer at Genie.io:

1) Instant deployment: We managed to connect forest to our Postgres DB in minutes, and had a fully functional admin panel with no scaffolding needed

2) Super powerful low-code customization: We built smart actions, role-based views, custom workflows, and dashboards as our business evolved, all without having to bother any of our engineers

3) Actually scales effortlessly: many other tools claim to scale but break. As Genie grew 5× in daily users, Forest just chugged on without any slowdowns, bugs or breaks.

4) Empowers our teams: Forest is so easy to use that our ops, product and engineering teams just built everything that they needed themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Forest?

This is nitpicking. Some of the visualizations could be "freshened up" a little. But it's totally irrelevant to be honest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Forest solving and how is that benefiting you?

1) We needed a fully functional admin panel minutes after pointing it at our database, fast, as we were scaling so much. We didn't have the engineering resource to build it all from scratch, especially as our product is complex and data heavy.

2) We needed a setup that created near zero developer dependency, so our engineering teams could focus on user-facing product. That meant we were looking for a robust tool that could be set up once, and then had everything else in terms of workflows, data reporting, RBAC, etc. set up

3) We needed to sustainably fix our friction in support. Prior to Forest, we were building dozens of manual SQL queries, Google Sheets/Retool linked to the DB, etc. It led to some gnarly issues that Forest entirely resolved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User Friendly & easy on the eye"

5/5

What do you like best about Forest?

What I really like about Forest Admin is how much it simplifies internal workflows. It gives teams a super customizable way to manage data and day-to-day tasks, without having to constantly loop in engineers. Coming from a background where I’ve supported users and worked alongside product and ops teams, I know just how valuable it is to have internal tools that are both flexible and easy to work with.

One of the biggest benefits, in my opinion, is how much friction it removes. Instead of spending time and energy building out custom admin panels, you can create a back-office setup that actually fits what your team needs—and do it fast. That means less back-and-forth with devs and more time focused on helping users and making good decisions based on real data.

I also really appreciate how thoughtful the platform is when it comes to user experience and security. It’s clean, intuitive, and doesn’t cut corners on keeping things safe. For someone like me—who enjoys being at the intersection of people, tools, and problem-solving—it’s easy to see how something like Forest Admin can have a huge impact on both internal efficiency and the customer experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Forest?

Honestly, I think Forest Admin is a really powerful tool—but like anything, it’s not without its rough edges. Coming from roles where internal tools played a big part in how effectively I could support users, one of the first things that stands out is the setup. It still requires some technical lift to get going. If you don’t have an engineer handy to help with the integration, that early stage can feel like a bit of a wall.

Another thing is, while the platform’s flexibility is amazing—seriously, the customization options are pretty endless—a lot of that flexibility is tied to being comfortable with code. So if you're on a support or ops team without much technical backup, you might find yourself depending on engineering for even small tweaks. I've worked in places where teams really valued being self-sufficient, so I can see that being a bit of a sticking point.

Then there’s the question of data privacy. Since Forest Admin is hosted, I imagine teams handling sensitive customer info would need to do a bit of legwork to meet compliance standards. That kind of thing has come up for me before when trying to onboard new tools, so it’s something I think about when looking at platforms like this.

All that said, once it's set up, it seems like a big win. It can seriously lighten the load for devs and give support teams way more autonomy—which, from my experience, is exactly the kind of balance that makes a tool genuinely impactful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Forest solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an Empathy Care Manager, my day-to-day involves supporting people during some of the most difficult and emotionally intense times of their lives. What Forest Admin helps solve is the operational complexity that can often slow down or complicate that support. It streamlines internal tools so that I don’t have to spend valuable time navigating clunky dashboards or waiting on engineering for minor data updates—time that could be better spent showing up fully for the people I’m helping.

Forest Admin brings everything I need into one place, which means I can access, update, or reference user data quickly and confidently. That’s huge when you're working with families dealing with grief, legal questions, or logistical overwhelm. It reduces friction in my workflow and allows me to focus more on human connection and less on back-end processes.

The customization aspect is another game-changer—it lets our internal tools match the sensitivity and care we want to deliver externally. And the built-in audit and permissions system ensures we’re maintaining privacy and trust, which is so important in this work.

Ultimately, Forest Admin supports my ability to care better and more efficiently, which is exactly what I want from any internal system in a mission-driven environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Forest?

I lead the Customer Success team, and the tool has been set up to let us manage our application. It does exactly what we need, with very easy configuration and great flexibility. "Facility’s to your product development"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Forest?

Since some months my team are having a difficult to make a platform delivery, during the path we discovered Forest admin and decided to integrate our data, in one month we made the delivery! Its very easy to modulate and i have less dependency on my developers because i can make the modifications on my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Forest?

Using forest have some limitations even if theres a sea of options, for my product i have sensible data that i wish i could put on encrypt, i dont know if this option already exists i still reading the documentation but would be awesome put a encrypted interface for some of my users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Forest solving and how is that benefiting you?

As i sended on my first answer, forest admin helped me to delivery in one month what i would probably take 2/4 months! It is easy to use and to modify the interface for me as a product owner its awesome to dont have the dependency on my developers, some things before i needed to put on the sprint and take more time, now this is not what is happening i can see a big benefit. "Great experiences with Forest so far"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Forest?

My experience with Forest has been mostly working with a PostgreSQL, where it is really easy to create models and pages so our colleagues can view the data they need. The custom forms have been getting really good as well, with the option to have dynamic fields and what not.

Not sure how well it integrates with other Databases though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Forest?

I feel that, without being careful, our Teams and Roles can get out of control. Also, it is a bit of a pity that we cannot have a similar UI layout for multiple teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Forest solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Good experience working with Forest Admin - It's rapidly evolving and has an active forum"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Forest?

1. Active forum with great customer support: when asking a question, we typically wait a maximum of 1-2 days before getting a comprehensive response. Most of my inquiries have been solved, or even implemented, very fast.

2. Easy to use and set up. The docs are very easy to follow.

3. We use it with Mongoose & MongoD. Forest Admin does a lot of smart automatic deductions of field types/names, selects appropriate editing widgets, creates smart relationships between references, and visualizes them clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Forest?

It is sometimes hard to achieve more complex tasks when they do not align with the framework. I recommend reading the docs clearly what is and is not supported. Furthermore, the docs are very well structured and easy to follow, but they could be a bit more comprehensive. I frequently find myself looking through the Typescript descriptions to try to figure out the functionality of certain methods or fields (to be fair, the TS descriptions are very good). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Forest solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us manage our database, both at a low level (direct modifications by IT personnel) and at a higher level. For example, using Forest Admin actions, sales personnel can bootstrap a new customer and create all necessary DB documents with an easy-to-use UI form. Forest Admin also helps us separate permissions between different groups of our organization, as well as changing the UI and experience.

Forest admin also helps us collect multiple resources in one place, statistical dashboards, DB management, customer onboarding/management, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
