**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

The tech is incredibly promising. I am amazed at how well the ad library works.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

I signed up for their research tool, Spyder, a few months ago, and I still haven't received what I paid for. For an additional $99 a month, I am supposed to be able to monitor 10 brands. However, over the past few months, I have been unable to access 3 of the 10 brands I am paying for. I contacted customer service, and they said they are working on a new build but couldn't provide specifics. It's a huge waste of money, and I am frustrated that the service is still being sold in this broken state. It's not right, and I haven't heard back from customer service since.

Using their Spyder tool to keep current on competitors' ads has been a gamechanger.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

Honestly, simply using the name in client calls and always having to pause and explain or wait for the giggles.  Amazing how many C-suite execs are still junior highers at heart.

**What problems is Foreplay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Competitor analysis has been the biggest win for our agency. We used to have a VA go through Meta's ad libraries for our competitors and take sreeenshots of their ads. Foreplay has been an instant win there.

**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

It is easy to collate multiple ad examples from many different brands and platforms to get a holistic competitor overview or lasting creative inspiration.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

There are many spam-style health ads that are likely not being saved as a reference for anyone using Foreplay. 

I wish there was a report or flag to start working through the spam/false info ads that tend to be in every search. 

Because of this issue, I would be weary of providing access to clients in case they happen upon those ads. It is also hard to share public links  with clients for them to reference.

Finding inspiration for new ad creative, competitive research, and industry research for clients where we can save multiple examples quickly and easily in one place.

**What do you like best about Foreplay?**

Foreplay UI is super clean and the ad inisghts that it gives you are amazing. Being able to check ads that aren't live anymore, plus, be able to save them really helps a lot. If you want to track a page you can easily access the Ad Library through Foreplay and have everything in one place.

There's nothing I dislike about Foreplay.

It really make my life easier. My research and ideation processes have been significantly shortened. Foreplay helps me to create better ads. Also It provides many advantages such as being informed about advertising practices in different sectors, following my competitors, and easily following current concepts in social media advertisements. Foreplay is my new Instagram as an Advertiser. Mostly, I scroll more on foreplay than on Instagram

As a team whose compensation relies on getting results, we're constantly looking for solutions to streamline our process, allowing us to use saved time, energy and resources on other tasks.   Foreplay did just that. Great for any team that needs to put high quality, high performance ads in customer's social media feeds.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

There wasn't anything to dislike. Maybe the "experts" boards could have more recent contributions?  Seems like those have been neglected.  Other than that, the tool performs amazingly

Time.  Client retention.  Saving us time and allowing us to focus efforts on service instead of fulfilment is absolutely crucial.

I really like the fact that it works for different platforms and that I am able to see different type of ads and what other people saved on their boards. I use it almost every day and it's very easy to navigate and you can organize content accross the different creative projects we're working on.

I think a brand historical ads should be one of the main function available, this app would be on another level.

The platform, while beneficial, has a number of features that could potentially be refined to enhance user experience. New users might find the array of functions a bit slow. The learning curve associated with some advanced features demands attention, as it may slow down the integration process for some teams.

Foreplay is one of the vital tools I use when it comes to servicing my clients. It helps you to gain valuable insight as to what types of ads and designs brands are running on paid social, and it includes a vast number of brands, as well as creative insights from creative industry titans.

Foreplay allows people to save ANYTHING, which can make it sometimes difficult to sort through the unnecessary/unwanted content, plus it sometimes slows the service down even when filtering is applied.

I like being able to look at competitors and seeing what they are running and how long they've been running it. I use Foreplay for brainstorming and inspiration weekly and it has helped me come up with such strong ad concepts. I also really like that you can integrate it with your browser and ad things to Foreplay that you see while scrolling FB ad library!

I wish the brief feature allowed you to generate multiple scripts, and also not have to copy and input the same product information each time

It's reliable and easy to use, and works on all platforms major ad platforms. Great to send your own uploads or competitor ads to your team without using google drive

Can be clunky at times or errors in saving ads, although I've noticed less of a tendency of this recently. You need to be good at organizing your swipes, because searching through ads is a pain. Hopefully some AI OCR or video summation tech will make it easier to find specific video concepts.

Foreplay is a really silly name 😂 It's quite hard to talk to some clients about Foreplay. On the plus side, some clients love it! It could be easier to use, there could be more data points.

In times of creative stagnation, Foreplay emerges as the ultimate remedy. This unique platform offers a myriad of ad styles that serve as a wellspring of inspiration. When trapped in a creativity rut, Foreplay becomes the go-to source, where watching relevant ads not only revitalizes creativity but also fuels the creation of compelling content. I asked help from the customer support and they have really outdone themselves! They fixed my issue with a snap of a finger!

The search function could be more responsive. It could be better at giving you the results that you actually want to see but I guess putting up specific terms would really help. The AI system needs a bit more work as well! But nothing too bad that'll stop me from using Foreplay.

As a small Facebok Ads agency, we've found Foreplay invaluable for staying ahead in the advertising game. Its ability to collect ads from platforms like TikTok and Facebook streamlines our market research, providing a diverse range of industry insights. The Chrome extension is particularly handy for quickly saving ads from TikTok and the Facebook Ads library.

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

The AI-powered brief generation could be more intuitive and sometime the Chrome extension doesn't quite work on the Facebook Ads library (maybe the fault of Meta and not the plugin?)

I dislike the amount of bad ads showing in the discovery. What do i mean about that. When im scrolling foreplay i se alot of really bad ads that are not complient with Meta. Would be nice to sort them. Not sure if you can tho.

A lot of the ads are in different languages and not high quality brands consistently

Best tool to collect and organize our creative benchmark and keep up with latest trends.
I created dozens of boards and folders so I can keep track of the best creatives on the market. It would have been a nightmare to do it manually without Foreplay.

The website may lag sometimes. UX could be a little more user friendly, but it's just a matter of time.

The easy to use interface and how the boards can be shared so easily is what makes me love the software the most! This is my go to tool in creative arsenal.

The loading times for certain boards can take a while.

Before Foreplay existed, it was painful and time-consuming to find, save, organize, and share creatives both internally and externally. 😓👎

Ever since I started using it in 2021, it's had a huge positive impactful on my Creative Strategy workflow. 

The Discovery feature makes creative research collaborative on an industry-level due to the fact that you're able to access what other users have been saving. 🔥 it has TONS of great features teams can utilize in different ways.

I'm able to easily find great creative examples for specific concepts, and discover new ideas that I would have never thought of on my own. And being able to easily & neatly organize them in multiple boards makes me happy. 🏆

Another great thing about the Foreplay team is that they are actively building new features AND a community around their product. 

This is a tool that's easy to use, implement, and integrate into any Performance Creative Team workflow. No brainer, if you run ads - you need Foreplay. 🚀💯

**What do you dislike about Foreplay?**

At the moment, it tends to glitch more often than not when it comes to saving content from organic Tiktok or Linkedin ads, which means I have to resort to saving content manually.

Regarding the sharing feature, in the future, I am hoping the team will add the ability to toggle sharing access on and off. (As well as have a clear list of what links are actively shared so it's easy to review, kind of like in Frame.io.)

What I love the most about Foreplay is its ability to save all my swipe files for countless campaigns as well as evergreen ads from the best DTC brands. This makes it easy for me to get inspiration from other brands, and save it all in one place. No more screenshotting, no more downloading videos and saving in folders...this is so much easier. I use this almost daily and its super easy to navigate.

So far I have no complaints whatsover. They have thought of everything.

Foreplay is solving issues of sourcing great inspiration for DTC brands. There is so much media we consume daily but now I can nicely organize ads into different categories without having to screenshot ads or even worse, download videos to save them as inspo on my desktop.
