Emails are constantly under threat of malware, viruses, spam, and other threats, and this is where Forcepoint Email Security comes in. The software has worked well for us, and I like that it is easy to deploy and customize. It is affordable, and there are plenty of features. The Email Security product was good. We had few, if any issues with it. We had bundled Email Security with Web Security, which was a total flop. We had no particular issues with the Email Security product. What killed our interest in Forcepoint as a company was support, plain and simple. As stated, we were satisfied with the Email Security product. And, other than being a resource hog, the Web Security product was decent, when it worked. When it didn't, getting their support team to acknowledge a problem and work to resolution was worse than pulling teeth. We had a three-year contract and in the last 12-18 months we had a critical issue that Forcepoint showed zero interest in resolving, the issue being that Forcepoint would randomly refuse to recognize an authorized user, thus blocking access when it shouldn't have. Their success rate in identifying threats was on par with most other vendors.
