It's fairly resource-intensive for some reason. Whenever I use Font Book, my computer fans start running and the computer sounds like it's about to take off; also, my other programs slow down. Also, with Adobe CC Fonts, it is making Font Book a little less relevant since most fonts are now activated through Adobe and not stored locally on the computer. The only problem with Font Book is that the Noto Sans font has 60 versions (yep, I counted), and there is no ability to remove this font even though I have never uploaded it.
