The custodians received my work order on ML Work Orders and arrived at my room to assess the situation within 10 minutes of me posting it. We like that this is a real time check off system. It allows us to keep track of what is needed without the requests getting lost in an email. We also like that we can specify certain trained people to be notified of particular work orders rather than everyone getting the email notification. We do not like that we have to switch over to schedules to pull up a PDF attachment. This is an extra step. We have also found it a bit time consuming to go to multiple drop boxes to add users. We have been able to stay on track and get things done more efficiently due to having them listed until they have been completed. In an email, the email will get lost whereas this does not. MLWorkOrders is fairly straightforward to use. This was the first ticketing system I've used in IT so I don't have much to base it off of but it has been pretty easy to use so far. Asset tracking has been integral with our department since we have so many devices coming in and out between two tech departments. Feedback to/from MasterLibrary has made life a bit easier. There have been a few times where we have offered feedback to MasterLibrary asking for a feature or simply mentioning how it would be useful for us and come to find out later that they listened and implemented the feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Follett Work Orders? The mobile UI, although more modern looking now, is somewhat confusing and it makes it difficult to know the severity of the ticket. The redesign seemed to take one step forward and two steps back when it came to usability vs usefulness. The sorting column choices are somewhat lacking. Sometimes I would like to know who put in a ticket so that I don't have to go in to the ticket itself. If I know that this person needs help, I can just go to that person instead of having to look through the ticket details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
