The fact that customers have their own appointed Customer Success Manager brings many great benefits with it. I really appreciate the personalised advice and frequent contact. Another thing I think is a major plus, is Foleon's transparency into their product roadmap and how open they are with the progress that is being made within this roadmap. Ultimately, I believe Foleon's tool is a unique and great way to provide content in a much more engaging manner to your customers. The drag & drop functionality allows me to easily create designs in the way I'd really like to see it. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** While there are some features are currently 'missing' that would be a great addition to the tool, the roadmap often clearly show which ones are already scheduled in to be created in the future. Another thing might be the small bugs that occur every now and then. Most of the time, however, Foleon's CSM team is able to provide me with some info about the bug in an instant. **Recommendations to others considering Foleon:** If you're seeking a new way to provide content to your customers/readers, Foleon is a great tool to consider with many exciting new features coming up soon! You'll get accustomed to the power of the back-end editor in no time! It also gives you the option to upload your own fonts/embed your own code etc. which opens up a whole bunch of possibilities. I also like the intuitive responsiveness of the app. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** There are certain small hiccups with the editor that I'm experiencing now. Setting up links and some of them not working correctly for example. Nothing big, but Foleons partner success team said they were rebuilding the tool to become even better of which I have no doubt. The price is also quite high, but the helpdesk support and program really make up for it. If I were to make a website with the same functionality and publications, it would cost our customer a lot more. **Recommendations to others considering Foleon:** Look through existing publications and find out if it suits your needs. **What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our customer has many offline publications which they showed on their website with a .pdf file. We used a PDF viewer which made it more interactive but nothing more. The problem we were facing was that our customer wanted something immersive and intriguing to show to the world. Foleon helped us getting rid of the old, not so innovative, PDF course brochures. Our sales team is now using it for our proposal as well. They often get positive response from the client that their proposal stands out to other competitors. To keep all data secure, we create passwords and unique logins for our clients. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** Some of our clients do ask us, can you send me a PDF instead of Foleon. It feels like they know their clients and they are interested in their clients. About a year ago, we got the news that one of our designed online magazines was nominated for best publication in 2018! **What do you dislike about Foleon?** It sometimes happens that a bug appears. Once I contact them, they make sure it gets fixed and that it won't happen again. **Recommendations to others considering Foleon:** Once you know how it works, it is very easy to use and with the templates they have, you can create the best designs! **What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes creating online magazines very accessible. While I am the graphic designer, my co-worker who is editor, is still able to change a few things in the designs. The tool is easy to learn and the user receives extensive support from Foleon. Both the support department and a linked Foleon employee are always there for you. There is almost always a solution. In addition, it is very nice that this tool is linked with Hubspot. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** The designers of Foleon can do a lot but are bound by the developed templates that are available. Furthermore, there are sometimes minor irritations in dealing with the tool, but this is almost always resolved or is stated on the Foleon roadmap. **What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accelerating the time to market. No third party is needed to make publications. Foleon is very easy to use and there are a lot of functionalities. Besides that it's also possible to link the right fonts, colours and images. The function to edit the lay-out for mobile is also great. We have been able to create a full magazine and event review in the space of a day or two from start to finish making our content distribution relevant and interesting. Featuring lots of different, useful tools Foleon's platform allows you to design work that is so much more than a PDF and is in fact closer to a website but without the need to learn complicated code. Their customer support is also second to none. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** Anything that Foleon doesn't currently feature is generally in their plan to roll out over the coming months. The tools available make content creation easy to pick up and very straightforward, which helps us save time on building the magazine compared to a traditional print magazine. We have also received positive feedback from some of our suppliers who how praised how we've been able to present their content. Additionally, the blocks and elements are really helpful when building a page and offer a range of different options to help mix up page layouts. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** There isn't much to dislike to be honest in my experience of using Foleon. An undo button and resolving some formatting issues would help improve things. But these problems can easily be fixed when using the software so isn't too frustrating, just more of a 'nice to have'. It runs effortlessly on a phone, desktop, iPad. Very user-friendly platform and if you still can't figure it out, they are ready with tips for you. You can also regularly attend training sessions. The result is really good and beautiful. Large companies with big budgets use Foleon, but even as a small SME company, the beautiful end product is within reach. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** Ultimately, you have to fit into the framework of the program. Understandable to keep it affordable, but as a designer, you always want to take that extra step. Sometimes there's still a bit of growing pains, then the program crashes for a moment. I found the Instant Magazine team very responsive to questions or concerns as well. **What do you dislike about Foleon?** There were a few things I wasn't able to accomplish at the time of my publication date. One specific item that comes to mind is the inability to create an anchor link. However, when I expressed my concerns to the Instant Mag team, they directed me to their future features calendar and assured me that this functionality - and more - were on the horizon. While that didn't exactly solve my problem at the moment, having insight into what the future holds on the platform helped give me confidence we made the right choice. **Recommendations to others considering Foleon:** If the cost isn't a concern, the drag and drop editor, the ability to tie in your Google Analytics and publish on your own domain makes your investment worth it.
