Foleon takes the hard work out of designing excellent looking products by providing templates and easy to use funtionality to tailor these as you need to.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

There really is nothing to dislike but if I was pushed it would be useful to have an auto resize function in the media library when importing images. Level 2 indentation with bullets and numbering would be very useful.

The system of Blocks, Columns and Elements is an excellent layout function and very easy to use.

As presentation software, it does not download into a PDF form well.

Being able to integrate media, the templates have been really helpful as a starting point, it is great for integrating call to action buttons and is very unique.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

At this point nothing has been missing so far and I have not come across any issues when using the platform. It may be great to be able to embed forms such as surveys in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Foleon:**

It is good to have someone with graphic design experience on hand to help optimize the pages

Foleon allows us to create digital content that is both engaging and interactive rather than sending a static PDF and makes it easier to collaborate on gathering content.

Foleon enables our small team of the Alumni office to produce and present professional content in a design driven magazine.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

You need to understand the tools and how to make it work for you. The Foleon team are always available to help.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are grateful to have a tool that enables us to produce a professional content and design driven magazine. Foleon is a wonderful multi-use platform that facilitates the creation of any form of online publications, and plus it also allows us to extend the life span of our stories on social media. Thus resolving issues regarding interactive content and targeting our different readerships throughout our social media. For our Alumni Association, it allowed us to go from print to online publishing with half the cost. A small investment for a great tool.

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

The learning curve is relatively shallow, and its UI is highly logical. The speed at which you can create meaningful audience-ready content is superb. I haven't used any other platforms to create anything nor do i need to!

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

As a designer it is missing layout options and is fairly limited but ive been assured more is coming, so im hopeful for future releases covering better tabbing and grids.

Don't waste time looking for other content creators it's all here!

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

Foleon makes it easy for any skill level to build a user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing webpage. I keep coming up with new reasons to use Foleon, but we currently use it for our internal newsletter, sales pitch decks, department landing pages, and targeted recruitment pages. We are about to launch our first white paper and plan to transfer our intranet to it. Foleon has solved problems I was looking to address, and ones I didn't know existed. It was easy to onboard for colleagues of all tech-skill levels and one colleague called it the "Canva for web page design." The CSM team is also very responsive and helpful with the onboarding. And it was easy for our IT to integrate on the domain side of the house.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

Not too much to say here that they aren't already working on. There isn't an undo button, but that's in the works.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The marketing team, along with other departments, had multiple web page requests or were sending PDFs. Our internal engineering team did not have the bandwidth to support. By empowering marketing with Foleon, we've been able to make more of our customer interactions digital-forward.

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

Foleon is a tremendous digital publishing tool. It has an intuitive, easy, and simple interface for beginners and amateurs. The design platform is simple to use and quick to learn. There are tons of examples to view to get ideas as well. There are many templates you can choose from to help diversify your creations.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

There isn't much to dislike about Foleon - maybe the pricing structure? It is pretty expensive to invest in if you have publications that require many issues. I have used Foleon since their original company name (Instant Magazien), and they have tremendously improved the product - in terms of user interface and features.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are moving hardcopy publications to a digital format, and Foleon serves as a great platform to do so. It is opening other markets for us to sell to our clients as well. It is newer territory for us, such as hardcopy publishing industries, but the easy-to-use interface helps us transition smoothly.

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

Foleon allows us to create online content that is accessible and easy for our readers to navigate. We use it to create a magazine. The platform gives the audience a web-like experience, and it's easy to adjust content to fit desktop, tablet, or mobile devices. I like how easy it is for our designers and editors to coexist on projects; they can work on the platform simultaneously. I also like that there are individual URLs for each story link. That allows us to be more targeted when we share our content on social media.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

There can be a bit of a learning curve if designers have only designed for print. But the Foleon team was great about providing guidance and tutorials.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The university cut our print budget, and we needed to find a way to deliver content to users digitally. Foleon lets us produce a high-quality magazine with a superior online, web-like experience for our readers.

The system is very user-friendly and offers a lot of freedom and possibilities for page layout. We have been customers for many years, and they have continued to work on the system every year, implementing continuous improvements that are truly beneficial in use. In short, you can create really beautiful things with it and also analyze visitor statistics.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

The number of projects is unfortunately significantly limited in the new subscription structure, which is really a shame because it greatly limits the number of online publications.

It is very user-friendly, try it!

No knowledge of HTML, etc. is needed; short and long articles, magazines, or annual reports look better than you could make with many CMS systems. Time savings due to the user-friendly system.

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

It is very flexible and allows me (working in PR and primarily text-based) to get things done myself in terms of layouting and styling my texts. Once you have worked with it for a while, you will get to know all the features and possibilities it holds and get very creative with it.  I also liked the tutorials and FAQs on Foleon's website as they are very helpful. Also, it allows you to make very different publications which is great as it works for different target groups and for different stories.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

The thing that annoys me most is that there is no return button for the functions. Once you have deleted a box, for example, you cannot go back and sometimes that is really frustrating when it happens accidentally. It would also be great if pictures and text combinations were more flexible for editorial purposes.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can be more flexible in our work as we do a lot of text work and can always add a new aspect or new storyline to our existing publications. It also helps to keep track of our work regarding readers (target groups). It allows us to publish content next to our website in a different format.

We like how it makes our publications feel modern.

I wish the data visualization features were a little more detailed. Instead of doing just a two-data pie chart, I hope that later along the line, we can incorporate more numbers to be displayed.

My advice would be to start looking at other businesses/organizations that use Foleon to get a better understanding of the features and how successful web pages look.

The most significant benefit of Foleon we've realized is that we see engagement with our readers/donors. We now know, at least, that they are opening the document and going through it.

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

The editor is fantastic and as an alternative to digital PDFs and the like, there is absolutely no comparison. The fact Foleon is responsive is a real benefit given so many of our customers visit us online. The training they offer at introduction is great too.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

The price is prohibitive for SMEs and the editor sometimes has a slightly funny half hour, but there's not much to dislike!

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This replaces digital PDF brochures and having a programme which is responsive, can easily embed video, etc is a real benefit. It also makes us stand head and shoulders above our competition.

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

I like the ability to make dynamic content and collaborate with others on the platform. Our customer rep, Kyle is awesome, and always there to help us along the way. It's been a great addition for us and helped with user engagement. I also love the analytics aspect - this has been helpful for reporting purposes and sharing out results with stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

The platform can be extremely slow at times, especially when publishing. I also wish we could lock down content and media files - think google drive approach. I would like the have the ability to share when needed, but keep locked when needed too. This would help facilitate better collaboration and sense of security among our teammates. For analytics, I would like the ability to see metrics on buttons and popups.

Consider how it will benefit your employee and client base through engaging and dynamic content, that is easy to edit and present.

We love the dynamic abilities of Foleon - it's been a great benefit to the company. Our marketing team now has the ability to create beautiful pitches and presentations,  that are far more engaging than PPT. We are able to better track our results, and see where we can improve.

One of the best features I think, is the 'Theme' button, where you can add your corporate style elements, so you don't have to fuss with adjusting font and such.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

There is nothing in the tool I do not like. A search function would be ideal, though.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Foleon helps us in presenting content in an appealing way, either as a glossy or as a portal, attracting more colleagues than our intranet can.

The intuitive nature of the tools, the great templates, and the thorough documentation all helped me navigate this tool as a beginner and get a successful first project published.

The only thing I can find to dislike so far is that I did not learn this tool sooner!

I recommend reading through the documentation as you go along. If not, you will get stuck and have to refer to it in retrospect.

Our in-house design department needed a turnkey solution to meet the demand for new product offerings. Foleon solved that for us.

Foleon's platform is really taking our content to the next level. Really glad we found them. The team is exceptionally professional and helpful and attentive. They really worked at lightning speed for us because our first project was based on a tight deadline. 

Onboarding went very smoothly, and it's been a pleasure to work with them so far. The customer success and support team is very responsive and their knowledge base is quite robust. We appreciate all the help articles and videos. It seems like the team at Foleon has thought of everything! The line of communication between our team and theirs is an open one, and that's really important to us.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

If I could add one thing on my wishlist: A universal undo button. I'm a prolific "undo" user (because my design skills are week) so I'd love to see the team implement that capability so I feel more free to work by trial and error. It would save me loads of time (and anxiety) if I could simply undo my actions.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team was really looking to level up our content as we move past the era of thought leadership by way of PDF. We'd been talking about it for a while but it wasn't until we discovered Foleon, that it really moved us to action. We wanted our content to shine, and be launched in a more palatable form than just a "download." 

We believe that our audience will now have a more enjoyable user experience in digesting our content. The readability and interactive nature of the publications will really be a gamechanger for us. Our brand will be showcased in the way it should be now that's we're using Foleon's platform.

We dislike the inability to add custom code, upload videos that aren't hosted anywhere, and the lack of icons/animated icons available for use. If those tools were added Foleon would be perfect.

- the margin function is not the easiest to control. At the moment I have to drag the margin up or down to increase or decrease the space between paragraphs. It would be great to pre-set the margin size on a paragraph element so I don't have to edit.
- you are unable to delete publications as a publisher, you have to be an admin which was frustrating when I was only a publisher before

Robust onboarding team got us going very quickly with the tool. In just over a week, we could get trained up and publish our first annual report. The tool is intuitive to digital marketers and designers alike. Foleon is flexible but not too flexible, so we never felt like we could push things too far and break any code or functionality.

Not a dislike, but it would be great if they expanded the data visualisation capability so you didn't have to rely on 3rd party plugins.

Foleon is easy to use even as a non-designer. You can make very professional looking projects just with drag and drop. I am impressed by the platform.

Sometimes the platform can be unresponsive or slow.

I would recommend Foleon for your content creation needs.

Foleon helps us cut down the time to publish because instead of relying on a designer to create a PDF, we can do it ourselves. And it looks better at the end.

**What do you like best about Foleon?**

Foleon is easy to learn and allows me to create and publish beautiful pages/sites quickly with no coding. The Foleon team and our rep are very supportive and always able to troubleshoot issues when they arise. The new integration with Marketo is great and will help us streamline our process further. Foleon has evolved rapidly and the team is adding new functionality at a record pace which is very exciting.

**What do you dislike about Foleon?**

There are some minor things I would like to see ie. side by side images/ images and text but I know that and more are on the Roadmap.

**What problems is Foleon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With all the COVID related changes and the move to all virtual events we have been able to quickly create custom publications focused on specific event audiences.

Foleon elevated our program by taking a traditional PDF and turning it into an online experience supported by video, call-to-actions and analytic tracking. 

Having access to a dedicated team to walk you through all the nuances of the Foleon platform makes any project manageable.

Restrictive export option; PDF's are not formatted appropriately.
