I'd say the biggest benefit for me and my team using Foleon is that it greatly reduces the barriers to creating a digital asset. Before Foleon, anything we needed designing would need to be sent to someone externally. Now, we can create reports, sales collateral, blogs and microsites much easier. I also like how regularly new functionalities are being added to the platform. The customer service has also been great, and the team at Foleon have regular check ins, and their customer support on the platform is also great. It took a bit of time to learn how to use the platform, but we can now create digital assets in a way that looks much more modern and impressive in a much shorter time. The bulk of what we create are research reports, and before Foleon we used pdfs, which have limited functionalities. Now, with Foleon we can showcase our data in a much more interactive way, and we can offer our clients more through the use of imagery, video etc. Foleon also gives us one platform where we can create all types of digital assets, like blogs and sales docs. The tool lacks functions and elements that would really make it stand apart from competitors. It's easy to use, but some of the features are limited. More advanced tables, charts and graphs would be fantastic, as well as more customized CSS abilities. Lastly, generating a PDF doc vs exporting the site as a PDF would be a huge win as many clients upload an InDesign PDF export as their PDF version of their Foleon doc/site. Foleon is an excellent digital publication creation platform. It can be used very dynamically, from online magazines, white papers, forums, landing pages, simple websites, etc. Its ability to create digital content easily and quickly is a great bonus! Foleon still has its bugs, but the team is adapting to the needs and wants of users and making it better. I previously had asked the tech team about specific missing features, and within a couple of updates to the user interface, the parts I was asking for became real. We needed a solution to continue their publication more cost-effectively. By using Foleon, we have been able to generate double the content by publishing 8 times a year.
