Diagnosing a failed job can be like looking for a needle in a haystack because the log files are cumbersome to navigate in the web UI. I appreciate the ease of use and the efficiency of the FME Platform. I like the ability to cache each transformer, which makes debugging easier. I find the data inspector really useful for viewing data and debugging, especially when trying to work out an issue with my output. Sometimes the geospatial data viewer can be glitchy, not displaying data, or laggy. Also, when trying to just run to feature, it doesn’t accurately run all transformers before. Sometimes when trying to do a visual preview and view my 2D data, it won’t load at all - maybe this is because I have too much data. If I run my workspace and it hasn’t worked as intended (e.g., no features made it to the end), then if I want to try and re-run specific sections, sometimes it doesn’t pull through all of the data and tries to just run from an empty transformer.
